"Hey, dad, what do you think of my new flame-thrower? Dad??? Uh-oh...." ;D ;)

Technically, any dad, snow or not, probably wouldn't take kindly to a flame thrower being aimed at him.  Just saying  ;)

Ya know, I can't imagine for a second that that movie is scary, but that cover has always freaked me the hell out. Go figure.

Fear of holograms?

If it were availble on DVD, I'd recommend Rakin Bass' stop motion adaption of "The Life And Adventures Of Santa Claus". I personally love it, but it's definately Riff worthy.

Are you referring to the snowman one with Michael Keaton? If not, I apologize. But, no; I mean the stupid horror one earlier in this thread.

I have no idea why it should bother me; it's a thoroughly preposterous graphic.

The VHS cover of the horror/comedy Jack Frost is a hologram.

I think the other specials on the Nestor disc are worth riffing. Especially "The Year Without A Santa Claus". My girlfriend and I watched that after the Nestor riff, and we laughed at several points without Mike. There's one scene where the elves have dressed up the reindeer named Vixen as a dog. They ride on her at various points in the film. Later a cop starts bugging them and loudly announces that he's writing them up for "Riding a vixen".  ;D The scene where the kid's father has a flashback to when Santa invaded his room while he was asleep and started staring at him in the dark is worth checking out too.

I think "Gremlins" or "Die Hard" should get Riffed when the holidays come rumbling in.

That'd be crossing a line imo.

Of course, they could riff my sister's all time favorite holiday movie...... Eraserhead.   Honestly, she watches that every year at the holidays and she calls it a holiday film.   So far, none of her kids are showing signs of her dementia.
