I do remember one about the composer getting his dick caught in a harp.

Yeah, the composer hasn't forgotten it yet, either. Years of therapy.

Watched the Cinester Theater iRiff of Batman Returns again. Such a very funny riff. This movie, while better than the Schumacher disasters, really has all of the ridiculousness of them. It just happens to be darker (usually just literally) and takes itself more seriously. And Cinester catches all of that. It continually impresses me how quickly they work (when they have time) and still produce such quality material every time.
Looking forward to the Child's Play riff soon!

At first he was just ugly. I really think the cage is the X factor here on the supervillain origin.

I don't get the "Daniel Waters? DANIEL WATERS! OH NO!" riff.

(Clown on a unicycle shooting an Uzi) - And that's just fun, is what that is.

You interrogated my chihuahua. (In the Walken voice this is hilarious!)

Hey. Are you listening to me? I have an opinion. I matter. I'm going to burn the house down! (Everything with Alfred is just great.)

We were having a party to celebrate your new pet fish. But that ship has sailed.

All right, PLAN F! (my favorite riff in this)

Corny Commentaries riff of Safety: In Danger Out Of Doors.
Good riffing. Vocal performances by all three were nice. Not exceptional, but they did put in plenty of energy. The voices are similar, so you tend to not be able to tell the difference after a while. A longer riff might give them more chances to do other voices, and to interact more.
They are more willing to talk over the dialog than Rifftrax. Especially the alien speech. This is NOT a bad thing.
Overall, I liked the Rifftrax better. But this is still good and makes for a nice double feature with theirs.

I said it, I meant it, I'm here to represent it! (LOVED this one!)

Of course I need to ride with a can full of flammable liquids.

Actually the tracks are fun. It's the trains that'll kill you.

March of the Penguins by Cinester Theater. It continually amazes me how good they are at filling all the space in this movie. Most people wouldn't even think it was doable, but they went and made their best riff out nothing but ice, only one type of animal, sex, and a hilariously diabolical Morgan Freeman.

HIGHLY recommended! Go. Go get it now! What are you waiting for? Seriously, if you want it go to the iRiffmas thread and I'll give it to you for fucking free!

Until she gets back, the egg will get nothing to eat but uncooked Top Ramen.

And that whole time the female peguin will not have to pay a dime of child support. I tells ya penguin law is fucked up.

All the single penguins don't know what they're missing! Being married and having kids is great!

Hush little baby, don't you cry. Even though you'll probably get eaten by a seal. I'm reassuring you.

Ah Mr. Bond. I've been waiting for you. Peep. Peep. ...I'm a Bond villain.

I love all the stuff with Chicksy Falcone.

Is this supposed to make me horny? ...'Cause it is...

Hey, it counts as exercise because laughing burns calories. The fact I sat my ass down on the couch the whole day notwithstanding.

By the way, are there any iRiffs I've promised to watch that I haven't yet? It feels like there are but I can't remember.

Not sure, but I would not mind a review of our latest, "The Monster Known as VD".

Think you will like it.

Cinemasochism iRiff of The Monster Known as VD - I liked it. Their performances are okay, there isn't much in the jokes that requires significant vocal range or anything. The jokes were funny, and it didn't get SUPER dark like they could have easily done. They didn't seem to take much advantage of the Monster in the title, though.
The beginning is jarring. Granted that is largely the fault of the short, but it would have benefited from an intro or something. They don't even introduce themselves.
The sound levels are a bit annoying too. The volume of the short isn't 'ducked' when the riffers are talking, so it makes it more difficult to understand them (although certainly not impossible).

Ah, Siphilisaurus.

I bet this is the last time he uses eHarmony.

Is she describing VD or intense radiation poisoning?

What, like VD-B-Gone?

Now she looks like Bob Newhart in drag.

Not sure you ever promised to watch it, but I still think you would enjoy The Movie Asylum's "Halloween II" riff.

I just tried the sample. It's okay. But I personally find the Halloween movies crushingly boring (except the third one).

Hey Darth,

If you have a strong stomach and don't mind watching the unsexiest film ever made, you can watch our "Dance-O-Rama" riff.  If there is some way to get it to you for free let me know...it would be entertaining to see your take on it.  We also have a "normal" short we riff in it called "Iron Country."  :)

Yeah, I will have to say that I had more issues with the audio with this short than anything else I have worked with, since the audio in the short was pretty mushy. And the beginning was always a problem, since it just threw you right into the short. That is something I labored with for a long time and never really put together to my satisfaction.

As for getting dark, we could of (and did in some run-thrus) gotten very dark. However, after getting darker than John Wayne Gacy with the "Boys Beware" short, it was actually easier to let the short set up the bathroom humor.

Thanks for the review, Darth. Much appreciated!

iJust watched the Cinester Theater iRiff of Back to the Future II. Again. For like the zillionth time. Can you tell I like their riffs? 'Cause I do.
This really is my favorite of the Back to the Future movies. It does the most with the time travel aspect, and in a very intelligent way. Well, intelligent for a family comedy anyway.

"How many Care Bears have I hit, Marty?" "*crying*I don't know. I stopped counting at 10."

"All the future cars look like they were designed for a Pinewood Derby."

"We've irresponsibly imposed my will on the timeline. For science."

"This has all the porn results for the last 20 years."

"Emperor Biff?! Oh, boy, that doesn't sound good."

Fair enough.  That sample doesn't really do the riff justice, either.

iJust Finished Watching FAST FIVE by Drawback Productions

Awesome job riffing a hilariously amusing on its own movie.  Solid riffs the entire movie & the riffers do a great job playing off each other.  Heck, I highly recommend this movie even if you don't have the riff! (But get the riff. It's great.)  Just the whole safe heist through the city alone is worth the price of admission!  If they riffed the whole Fast series I'd buy every single one of them.

Favorite riffs:
*singing* "Vin Diesel...." reveal during the heist
"Shouldn't the bridge be hitting me about now?"
"Shut up so I can make fun of you!"
(Rock) 'Stay the f*** out of my way'  "I can barely fit through doorways as it is!"
"Walk it off? How many calories are in a temper tantrum?"
"Buffering... Buffering... Still mad."
'I'm pregnant!'  "Really? Where?"
'How are we gonna get his handprint?'  "Ask him to draw a turkey!"
*singing* "Move move move..."
(Rock) 'I'm here to bring in 2 a**holes whose names hit my desk'  "Better than 2 names whose a**holes hit your desk!"
"This beer is funny!"
"I smell a helicopter shot! BOOM! Nailed it!"
"Have a SAFE ARBOR DAY!"
All the lines about the credits heist when it seemed like it should have ended.
