Watching the Cinester Theater riff of Back to the Future 3 - I really miss these guys. Excellent voice performance, damn near anything they say is at least fun to listen to, and most of the riffs are really funny. This was the one where did submitted riffs, and there are a few of mine that made it in.

"Hey lighten up, jerk!"---You make a good point.

I bet your life on it! (one of mine, but still a favorite.)

"You've read Jules Verne?"---Read him? I blew him at a book signing in Kansas City.

And I beleive I should spread my seed throughout time and space.

Is anybody else going to review some iRiffs? I wonder what kinds of contest of program or something we could do to get more of these reviews.
Okay, I'll bite.  I've actually been kind of busy with my own work but I did just watch Quiptracks Lady in the Water.  Well worth the price of admission... which granted was free but still.  It wasn't quite as good as Signs but still what you'd expect from Quiptracks.  Favorite gag.
Hey  "Hey!"  Hey  "Hey!"

My friend Vicky and I watched the iRiff for the second half of IT. She enjoyed it, although the movie is awefully slow. Hor-Riff-ic does a good jobe riffing this, although some of their other riffs are better.

Last night I watched the Turkey Shoot riff of Scrooge. Again. Still my favorite Turkey Shoot riff. As much as a tend to prefer multiple riffers because of the interaction you can get, Scott Zee's performance is just top notch. Greatly looking forward to his next riff.

Turkey Shoot riff of The Snow Creature. Always so funny. It's particularly impressive how good the riffing is during the whole first half, despite how tedious and repetative the movie is in that half.

Well, it doesn't look like we are following any Yeti tracks, it looks like a couple of guys have been walking through here. No, I think it's a few more than that. Well, there's like half a dozen prints here. I don't know what you guys are talking about, looks like about twenty people have been through here.

The running gag about Pete's alcoholism is great, but I love all the riffs about Pete not even using a camera even more.

I don't have the heart to tell him that camera of mine is just a prop. And how in the hell did that flash go off?

Hey, it's Fish as a young teen desk clerk.

And I mean really, couldn't they have shot more footage of the suit? Or was he just a magnanomous presence they did one take and he shattered the lenses? Was that it?

Zee's "Squeak The Squirrel" short is easily on my top ten list. When he first released it, there were a few lines that, every time they floated into my conscious thought, sent me giggling to myself. Sometimes at inappropriate moments.

I agree. It was really high on my list, too. I should have specified, Scrooge is my favorite of his feature length riffs, but Squeek The Squirrel is definitely my favorite of his overall.

"And now we present Squeek with a new challenge." - BUTANE!

So of course, when I got home I just HAD to watch the Turkey Shoot riff of Squeek the Squirrel short. SO! DAMN! FUNNY! I know it's only ten minutes, but it feels like even more because he fills it with so many good riffs one after another.

"Do you think Squeek can learn to pull the string?" - Hey pal, what you call Hell, Squeek calls home! What do you think?

Ugh. Oh, leave the little bastard alone! - "a peanut on one end." - What do you have left to prove?! - "and a stick on the other." - LETS NOT AND SAY WE DID!

Watched the Cinester Theater iRiff of Total Recall. As always, these guys are hilarious. Their Schwarzenegger impressions isn't the best, but it's how they use it that counts. And while they do that voice often, this doesn't have the same problem the Blame Society riff of Running Man did where it just made it boring and too monotone. It's not all puns (surprisingly few, actually, given the source material). Highly recommended.

Now see, if they had used Windex, their credits wouldn't streak like that.

Hey, where did all my muscles go?!

Wow. It looks like they got eXibit to pimp out a dustbuster.

UTAH! I mean Mars!

"How did you find me?" - I followed the trail of smashed objects.

*midget with a machine gun* - Best movie ever, ladies and gentlemen. It's official.

Our bulletproof cardigans aren't working at all! Damn you Grandma!

See, I have the original version, and that "What you call Hell" line is not in there, IIRC. I knew I needed to get the new version!

Watched the Cinester Theater riff of Short Circuit again. Really good. These guys do a great job riffing movies that most groups wouldn't try.
The ending of this one has the promise of Syncy's Revenge, Neverending Story 2, which was supposed to be released last year. Doubtful it will ever happen, though.

Who wants. To get. Fucking wasted.

I am missing the sweetest rave in my Snack Shack.

Oh gnarly, they got the fish finder working.

Oh, don't mind that. Our TomTom is having an existential crisis. (Definitely my favorite riff in this)

Watched the Hor-Riff-ic Productions riff of Friday the 13th part V: The New Beginning. Also known as the one without
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
. It is not, however, without all of the other things that make the Friday the 13th movies inherantly riffable, as we see clearly here.

"Hey, you okay?"---What kind of a question is that for someone checking into a mental institution? It's the therepy method developed by John Cicero of Newark New Jersey.

If anyone can get us out of this sticky situation, it's Pam!

So Crystal Lake pretty much floods every year, then?

What is that? A bean poker. It's an essential piece of made up farm equipment.

Watched the Hor-Riff-ic Production riff of The Stuff. I actually find this movie interesting and enjoyable on it's own, at least until the inexplicable ending when they get help from the horribly racist, xenophobic, radical right wing militia group.
The riff is really good. I tend to forget about this one, and haven't seen it as often as the others. Fortunately, the movie is on Netflix Instant.

Hey hey, there's Willie Nelson folksy, and then there's George Bush folksy.

Of course he'd stop at a Mo-bil station.

Cue rediculous looking van!

iJust watch the Big Bunch of Doug Shorts riff of Don't Touch - Thanks to Mr. B. Natural for pointing this out to me.

http://youtu.be/vfLHp0sPt9A

This was a pretty good riff. I think the riff done at the Colonial Theater event in June (by one of the student groups that Joel teaches) was better. But there were plenty of good lines here. His performance is okay, nothing special. But not boring, which is key, even in a short that's only ten minutes long.

Let me have iiit. Let me have iiit.

Aaaand now I'm watching robot porn. Thanks movie.

This is a smooth little boy.
