I suppose it all depends on the kind of movie you want to watch.  I say get completely loaded and then watch Eragon, as it looks like a film that much fun can be made from.

Yes, either eragon or if you want to have real fun Night at the Museum

Either way, I'm sure you'll have a blast at whatever movie you watch.

I'd go with "Deck the Halls."  Nothing like an excrutiatingly unfunny comedy to properly emulate the mood of a standard Christmas party.

The 21st means that you will be unable to see Night at the Museum, Rocky, and Pan's Labyrinth.  So my suggestion is Casino Royal.  Great movie to see with a group.
Anytime someone offers you 10,000 to 1 odds, you take it.
Lets just say if John Mellancamp ever wins an Oscar, I'll be a rich man.

The studios will be going for the long holiday weekend so some of those might open on the 20th.  I think that's the date mentioned in the Rocky Balboa ads.  Don't know about the other two.
But nothing says Christmas party like "The Nativity Story"!!

I third "Unaccompanied Minors."  I bet that would be a blast to see with the Rifftrax crew.  It looks like a movie that would be fun to see with a group of friends but horrible to see on your own.

They were saying it's "Home Alone" meets the "Breakfast Club."  You know that's got to be unintentionally hilarious.

Guys like that are the reason I don't go to theaters, but I imagine if it were a Rifftraxer or the Riffmaster, I'd be ok with it because Mike is actually funny and not a moron.  Seriously, every time I go to the movies, there's some backseat mst-er trying to impress his girlfriend.  Either that or someone who constantly and loudly talks about something completely unrelated to the film.  [/rant]

One time there was some kid and his little girlfriend who was sitting in front of a group of 8 of us. It was at John Carpenter's In the Mouth Of Madness and he was making noises and doing fake scare jumps etc. I leaned right behind him during a quiet part in the movie and told him "To shut the hell up!" It was heard by a lot of people in the theater. Immediately after that my friend James gave him a Nelson Muntz "Ha-Haa!" and the entire theater erupted in the laughter. The girl was sinking so low in her seat and was so embarrassed to be seen with him. She was there for like another five minutes and she got up and ran out of the theater. It was great!
