I really liked the part where the old guy got in the fridge and then got exploded by a nuke. That was awesome. Did anyone else think it was awesome?
I try not to question the "rule of cool" because, realistic or unrealistic, it's just plain fun.
When I find myself worrying about radiation, G-Forces, and other science facts, I just say to myself "It's just a movie. I should really just relax."
But then, analyzing the logical discrepancies in any work of fiction can be just as fun as suspending your disbelief, so what the hell, have at it;
My biggest, oddest pet peeve: why does Colonel Doctor Kutyaveenaov (I forget her real name) only use her vast psychic abilities once, to open a damned door? Couldn't she have, like, exploded Indy's heart after he was no longer useful? Force-choked Mutt during their little roadside duel and ended the damned eight-hour chase scene about five seconds after we grew tired of it? Why didn't her vast mental insight help her realize that she had a hideous haircut? I guess they pay their barbers with vodka in the great USSR.
She looked damn good in those pants though.
