What is the deal with CT and the "Blood" movies?

Years of frustration at having to edit down movies for the old MST3Ks?

According to the imdb, it's a 60s Filipino film.  It's got a 4.9 average and one reviewer calls it:

Weird without intent and without a trace of kitsch, this is, along with The Blood Drinkers, undoubtedly one of Filipino horror's finest moments.

The guy seems to know a LOT about Filipino horror movies, so I cant say he's totally unbiased.

But if the movie is made with an all hispanic cast and crew, does it count as a Filipino horror movie?

After meeting a handful of Filipino folks, for the most part they tend to have Spanish names, but look more Asian/Polynesian. That might explain the hispanic names if you're looking at a cast list.

I haven't listened to the interview yet, so correct me if I'm wrong, but Satellite News said it was the next LIVE show, which means it's not necessarily the next DVD release, right? Like they did Wasp Woman live and everyone assumed it would be DVD 2, but it was actually 3.

I haven't listened to the interview yet, so correct me if I'm wrong, but Satellite News said it was the next LIVE show, which means it's not necessarily the next DVD release, right? Like they did Wasp Woman live and everyone assumed it would be DVD 2, but it was actually 3.

And that begs the question, have they even filmed the next batch yet? I don't really keep up with their personal blogs.

I have not seen anywhere where they mention if they have filmed them or not.    I imagine they are going to experiment with some of the jokes at the live shows and then film based upon the live audience feedback.   

Glad to see that this is taking off...... they all seem like good folks that deserve success.
