My favorite thing about any given Futurama time travel episode? They make a very deliberate point to contradict the rules of all other Futurama time travel episodes.  :D

Rules?  on Futurama?  I don't think so....   ;D

There should be another time travel ship from the universe they passed by, but I guess that one will show up in the next universe if that professor made the same mistake landing...

The most recent episode is one of the best episodes of the series, pre or post cancellation/return. Hilarious and fun.
FINE

Really enjoyed this episode.  The Zager and Evans song pastiche was pretty awesome, and the final, final shot had me in stitches.  Not many shows can do heartwarming and darkly comic and exactly the same time.

The return of Nibbler!  And of the Globetrotter professor.

I thought last night's episode was cutesy-wootsy, didn't you?

He actually appeared in the first new one for about 5 seconds too.
I wonder if they'll keep him talking, maybe even make him a more regular part of the show.

They'd have to secure Welker for a more regular recording schedule, and who knows how easy that is... he's the most utilized and sought-after voice-over actor in the business.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

I enjoy how this season has been exploring new character combinations and relationships. I never in a million years would have predicted an Amy and Nibbler episode.

That's Dr Amy...   All those times they went to Mars U I don't think they ever brought up the fact that Amy was the Professor's grad student, I don't remember it being mentioned again after the first or second show of the entire series.  Did they ever mention she had a masters in physics?  I guess you just have to figure that out since that would be the Professor's department and she was his grad student.

Cash for bones had me on the floor...

Cash for bones made me think IMMEDIATELY of Tim and Eric's "telethon" for Richard Dunn. "Send us your bones... I need them more than you do."

Did they ever mention she had a masters in physics?

she doesn't necessarily need one, so long as the research warrants direct admission to a doctorate program.

That's true, even though she was taking forever it's not like she needed the masters to make more money while she went for the doctorate, and with the professor as an advisor he wouldn't think of it.

I figure the will ignore the fact that she has the degree for a while, they did the job market joke so now they can have her doing some menial stuff and have Liela make remarks like "don't you have a PHD?".   The professor will probably just forget to upgrade her from grad student to assistant...

When they panned down at the beginning that boiler room with Scruffy in it was a mess, I think that's the only freeze frame moment in this one.
