Futurama is really and for-truly back! All the wit and charm and skilled sci-fi-omedy writing is back in full force. I finished these episodes with a sense of glee and inner joy that can never be canceled again. :^)

Oh, I do hope "The Transcredible Exploits of Zap Brannigan" becomes a recurring gag.

Since the show is back on, Fry and Leela need to break up. It was nice having them together if we thought we would never see them again, but now....

I loved both episodes. This and Pysch is going to make the summer ten times more awesome

Where can they be found online (not a Torrent)? I just have basic cable.

The second episode is much better than the first....it's as good as the older stuff.

This site doesn't exactly seem legit, so who knows how long it will be up, but they have the new episodes for streaming

There were some funny bits scattered here and there throughout both episodes but nowhere near the hilarity of the original ones.  I did find them a little funnier than those horrible direct-to-DVD movies however,  so perhaps there is hope.

I'm sure they'll be on comedycentral.com soon.

Usually it's the next day, but they don't put every show on the website so we will see tomorrow.  I hope they show up on iTunes HD, that's the way I want to see them.

Well, in any case, while the episodes were funny, they better go back to a straightforward storyline next episode. Multiple flashback reveals at the end of every ep are gonna get old fast.

On the other hand, I'm glad it still feels like the show never left. Loved the CSI: Miami dig in the 2nd ep the best.

I thought both eps were thoroughly enjoyable and look forward to seeing this classic back on a weekly basis.  Whatever complaints people have about the humor not being up to snuff (I didn't think it was lacking), the show looks fantastic.  The animation seems really top-notch.  Also, I especially thought the opening line about the old and new idiots was quite funny.  It kind of reminded me of when Letterman opened his first CBS show with Larry Bud Melman saying "this is CBS!"

I was also glad to see Scruffy back.  Is that a spoiler?

Am I right in hoping that, from this season on, we'll get full season DVDs (or see it online in various forms)?

Also, was I the only one who thought it sometimes sounded like some of the characters' voices were not quite right?  Maybe in subsequent episodes they'll get back in the vocal groove, or maybe the actors are just getting older and their voices don't sound like they used to.  Or maybe I'm just hearing things.

I've noticed a difference in some voices since the movies. Most notably Farnsworth and Bender.

I wasn't really into ep 1 besides Bender's story and some Farnsworth lines but I dug ep 2 a lot.

Funny, the consensus here is that the second episode was better than the first, but on another forum I visit, the consensus is the exact opposite.

Me, I enjoyed them both, but wouldn't rank either among my all-time favorites.
