It does hit tomorrow and here is a cool interview with Billy West where he says Fox is considering bringing back Futurama for a sixth season (the fifth season being the 4 movies split apart).

Please don't do the dvd release thing again.  Just regular television releases that aren't split up movies.

The DVD movies have kinda sated my appettite for anymore Futurama.  If they can't do it as well as they could before, then I'd rather have it end.

I agree.  If there's one thing that Family Guy has taught us, it's that it may just be better to let dead shows stay dead.

Yeah, but i think was the movie format that hurt the movies.

I would like to see if they could get the magic back if they just do 13 half hour episode.

Even bad Futurama is better then good Family Guy.

Hey maybe new Futurama could kick American dad off the air, that would be a win win.

Have they shown the others?
They showed the other two movies with end credits and opening titles, but they still aired them as "movies," not in a weekly format or anything. I don't think they're ever going to show them as a new season.

I think if they had been written as pure movies they would have been better, what really hurt them was needing to write them so they could be split into 4 episodes.  3 act movies would have been better than 4 three act episodes stuck together.

American Dad is still on the air?  Well, another proof that stupidity reigns supreme, that's why Futurama didn't do as well as the crap that came after it, halfway intelligent comedy never survives.

Yep and each episode is dumber than the last.

They took all the worst part of family guy and made a show out of them.

Completely disagree. American Dad took a couple seasons to get going, but I've found that with each season I enjoy it more and more. I feel like this last season has been its golden age. But to each their own, I guess.

It's on most sunday nights when I take my breaks at work and I haven't found it funny at all.

It just seems to be my most hated jokes from Family Guy used over and over again.

I like American Dad it's a more coherent, less non sequitur version of the Family Guy
