They might want to continue, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea. You can only ride a horse for so long before it collapses beneath you. I don't hold the old episodes on a pedastal at all. In fact, I think the 2010 season and Bender's Big Score were the best things Futurama has done. For my money, the two best episodes are The Late Philip J. Fry and Prisoner of Benda, hands down. But since 2011, I have to say that I think the entire thing has been forced. It just hasn't been as good as it used to be, it happens, and I really think it's time to let the Futurama legacy be what it is.
