Yeah, that episdoe really made me tear up. But that also means I don't revisit it like the other ones that are funnier.

The new ones have been hit and miss.  I really enjoyed The Late Philip J Fry.

Same here.  I'm a bit torn on this news.  The show's never really been back.  It's had a few good episodes, but outside that one, no great ones.  They never really got their groove back.

This may just be me, but I found the "misses" to get better on rewatch.

I think the infamous ending of Jurassic Bark makes everyone forget how freaking hilarious the rest of the episode is. Every part related to Bender's magic act is golden, and the line about the "Daily Growl" might be my most quoted Futurama line.

And that's different than every other episode how?

Bender, let's not forget, was a brutal tyrant of Osiris 4.

I'll be sad to see it go again.  It was quite a thrill to get new episodes, and I don't know if its me being more forgiving than others, but I don't think I've been disapointed by a single episode, or any of the "movies".  Some are better than others of course, but I can't call any of them bad.  I just love those characters too much, and I don't feel they've ever had an episode that wasn't true to them.

The first and third episodes have been a bit weak, but I really like the second one. Full of really odd callbacks.

I really liked the mobius drag-strip

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

They've all been pretty strong IMO..... also, looking at the production listing compared to the airing order, it seems this half-season is as f***ed up as the original 4 (5) seasons were before they got cancelled the first time.

I bet they'll be in proper order for the DVD though. (I hope)

I liked the 2nd one best so far as well.

I've never seen any of those Tokyo drift or fast & furious movies, so I'm guessing the first one would be more funny if I had?

I'm interested in seeing how they wrap things up, but IMO they peaked during their 2010 run, everything since then has been "meh." As much as I love Futurama, I can't say I'm all that interested in more new episodes.

How could an episode all about Benders ass be so blah?

No real hilarious episode yet this season, pretty sad that this summer Hot In Cleavland has made me laugh more than Futurama...

I have to say that if people were judging the entire pre-cancellation (1st) series the same as they've been judging this recent (post movies) series, they'd be incredibly disappointed in the whole show.

These past few seasons have been on par with, if not at times better than, much of the original 4 (5 if you're Fox) seasons... which had their stand-out episodes (that seem to be all anyone remembers now) as well as their incredibly bland slow semi-boring episodes. Hell, I just watched the first 4 episodes again last night, and they're really kind of painful.

Guess I should have said "this half season" or "this summer" instead of "this season", there were some good ones in the first half.

There's still hope, 2 of the last 5 are listed as being written by Eric Horsted, the last one by Ken Keeler, and most of the titles look promising.
