Graphic Novels most def count. In fact, I should have watchmen on there.
Since it is nearing Halloween, you must read John Dies at the End by David Wong. It is an excellent horror/comedy book.
I will can't read it for this Halloween (one of my tests is on the following weekend), but I will read it for next Halloween!

18. "It's a Good Life" (which became a very popular Twilight Zone episode and stil remains creepy in prose form) and "The Sandkings" which is a horror sci-fi story with a style that reminds me a lot of those karmic "snap endings" from those old Tales from the Crypt comics.
