Anime Peanuts makes me hate humankind even more than I normally do. I don't mind parodies of Peanuts, but somehow dragging it into Anime territory is a new low.  :(

That's not even 'anime' (as in Japanese styled), it's just poor quality non-descript animation.

Just thought I'd mention it...

Isn't it strange how we've come as a society when somebody makes teenage, anime characters out of the Peanuts and immediately our childhoods are raped and shattered, but there's an anime remake of Jesus and there really isn't that much of a fuss?  Hell, Family Guy gets away with Jesus jokes seven, eight times a season and it's just sort of become SOP for them.   ;D

Speaking of which, anybody actually see this thing?  We got a copy where I work, and just seeing it makes me shake my head in disbelief that it even exists...

What? I can't make a simple statement of fact that the video's title is in error and thus misleading? Whoever posted it to Youtube with that title apparently didn't know the difference is all.

Here's a true anime Jesus from Superbook:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/5LNdw6BlASI&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/5LNdw6BlASI&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1</a>

and another Christian anime, Flying House:

What's scary is that I actually remember these from my own childhood.

It occurs to me that the real reason you don't see any grown ups is that all the women die in childbirth because of the hugely macrocephalic children, and the men are all off in the garage or at the pub.

At the pub?  So THAT's why none of them can talk clearly.  "Hey, Dad, I got in A in science!"  "Whomp-wah-wah-wah-waahhhh..."  "Yeah, that's what my teacher said, too."
