Anyone else here play this game?

It's my favorite time waster here at work. (I know, I shouldn't be wasting time while at work!!)

Here's my scores:

That's very impressive.  I'm nowhere near those, though I don't play it much.  I have to admit though, I'm a huge fan of PopCap games.  I used to play on a game called Bookworm a lot, where you get a random assortment of lettered tiles and have to make words from them.  "Fire" tiles would burn through the others to the bottom unless you used them.  I think my score was over 6 million!  ;D

PopCap games are a lot of fun, if only briefly.  I got tired of Bejeweled pretty quickly, but I sank a lot of hours into Bookworm back in the day.

Any of youse guys ever play at Pogo?  It's an EA-run site that has a number of PopCap games and quite a few others available for online play.  Many of the games require a paid (but quite reasonable) membership, but several can be played for free.

I'm thinking RiffTrax-regular online bowling tournament.  Who's with me?

I love popcap but i dont understand why i would spend 20 bucks to buy one of their games, i would consider it better if it was maybe 10 bucks.  I did get bejeweled 2 with my xbox 360 when i bought it at costco (they had this arcade unplugged volume 1 with it and it had a few arcade games for free) i play them every once and awhile, but i get bored of the trial games sometimes.  on www.dragongamez.com a bunch of people at work have studdenly gotten addicted to "win a million" (basicly who wants to be a millionare) we have been yelling at eachother in our cubes trying to get the right answers.  hillarious.

I hop on over to pogo whenever I need my cribbage fix and there's no one around the house to play.  Though Pogo upset me when I got into mahjong and they didn't have it.  I just figured they would.  Ohhh well.

Do you mean the actual game of Mahjong, where you're dealt a hand, or the simplified tile-matching game?  They do have the latter, though you have to be a subscriber in order to access it.

when you say simplified I hope you mean 'made so an idiot can play'.  I can't see how the tile matching version is popular.  It's like memory, except all of the cards are face up...yay!  what fun.  :P  No, I was referring to the original mahjong game.

I have definitely put in a bunch of hours in that game! The fun part is showing my scores to my co-worker, who also plays the game, but not nearly as often as me, and gets mad at me for showing off!

Hey, it's good to be proud of yourself once in a while.   :)
