Lair of The White Worm question

Was Lady Arabella a vampire, some other blood drinking terror, or just a sadistic madwoman who kept a giant man-eating snake in her basement?

I'll have to review the story again, it's been a while. The film is a personal favorite of mine.

Sort of.  Although none of it is explicit, it's all implicit. She is something other than human, because of her unusual strength and she is the keeper of the white serpent.  She mostly just feeds her victims to the snake though, she never feeds herself. It's a rather convoluted story, really, not Stoker's best by any means
You know when you think someone is a complete jerk, but once you get to know them, they're actually a great guy... I'm the exact opposite
