Who decides what is normal? A unique story of love, friendship and a view of the world from different perspectives, WAITING FOR FOREVER explores the connections people make in the face of life's changes. Best friends while they were growing up, Emma (Rachel Bilson) and Will (Tom Sturridge) lost touch a long time ago as far as she knows. To Will, Emma never stopped being the most important person in his life. Believing them to be forever linked, he goes wherever she goes. Will doesn't have a home, a car, or a real job. He survives on his talent as a juggler and entertainer talents honed through years of showing off for Emma. When her father gets sick, Emma returns to their hometown, trying to leave behind her complicated love life and failing career as a TV actress. As its characters face love, death and their own preconceptions, WAITING FOR FOREVER questions the realities of life.

"Hey, Emma!  Check this out!  Five tennis balls!  Wanna get coffee sometime?  No?  Wait!  Watch this!  Two bowling balls and a chain saw!  Hey, I scored two tickets to the...come back!  Here, I'm turning on the chain saw!  I've been practicing and I think I've almost...gggahhaaacck!"

Yes.  Dare.

I've got an audio commentary for the Robin Williams "Popeye" movie that I recorded with two of the stars, Donovan Scott, who played Olive Oyl's brother Castor Oyl, and Paul Dooley, who played Wimpy, and I'm working hard to make it into an iRiff. It's not done in a normal riffing fashion, much more like an actual DVD commentary, but I think it's a great listen! Anyone interested?

Sorry but as a Ghostbuster I have no choice but to destroy you.  It's nothing personal GozerJr.

Welcome to the forums by the way.   ;D

That's pretty cool!  I would just be sure to mention in the product description that it's more of the DVD commentary than funny iRiff commentary.  (But it does sounds really cool.)

You're not alone, it's a fantastic bit of work, still not sure why it didn't at least do well critically.

Agreed on the love.  If anything, the only explanation I can think of for its reception is that it wasn't the Popeye most people were expecting, (namely the cartoon version that reduced everything down to "Bluto bad, Popeye punch him, it no work, eat spinich, it work now").

Actually, it didn't do nearly as badly, critically or financially, as people seem to remember:

Of course, you make what is essentially a Swiftian satire wrapped around a cartoon adaptation with a straightforward musical along for the ride, yes, it's not going to be for everybody.
