For those not too familiar with her work, she was the composer for shows like The Flash, Batman: The Animated Series, and more. I'll be watching a few episodes tonight of the Flash in your memory. :'(

Well, I liked the theme tune to Batman: TAS, so I'd say she was pretty good at her job.

The Flash... over Batman:TAS??  Hmm.. I'm not so sure about that. BTAS was one of the few AWESOME cartoons to ever come out, that actually was kickass and violent the way a Batman cartoon should be.

Shirley was a damn good composer and her list of films is pretty impressive.. maybe not so much the Final Destination franchise but hey, what can ya do :)

I liked her style a lot... damn shame she checked out early.

Her adaptation of Danny Elfman's Batman theme is, like everything else about B:TAS, the definitive Batman music.

Dave Cockrum (artist on Giant Size X-Men and co-creator of Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Banshee) also died recently. He used to live in my neck of the woods. Nice guy.

That's a shame.  I always thought she had the right idea for the music for Batman as much as Danny Elfman did.  In her honor, I'll listen to the soundtrack to the first Batman movie tonight.
