Even though I've only played one round, I like the role-playing aspects of the mafia games. I like getting into a character. Unfortunately, taking on a persona contributes to me not wanting to be a part of games where I'm unfamiliar with the subject.

But if we're playing porn mafia I am absolutely 100% there.

Okay....how did I know that porn mafia would be so popular??  ;)

We're a LONG way off from Game 30, so we'll see what happens then....

Just to keep things moving along, I'll repost 3 of my theme ideas...

1.)  Walker Texas Ranger Edition: The Chinese Tongs and the South American Cartels are in a turf war over the Dallas Metroplex, with the Texas rangers in the crossfire....

2.) Kaiju (Giant Rubber Monster) Edition:  The Aliens of Planet X have once again begun to try and control the residents of monster island, this time a renegade Earth Scientist  has simlar designs for Global Domination.  Tokyo's Insurance rates are sure to skyrocket...

3.) Generic Anime Edition: You thought that Anime was make-believe?  Ha! you wish!  Some diabolical shadowy figures have designs to conquer their creator's reality.  Only the combined forces of good, (and not so good)  will have a chance to stop them...

and this time, I won't be plaged by technical issues that forced me to step down as GM for Mafia 14

I don't know if Thom has any plans of hosting Game 17, but if everyone isn't sick of me after the Buffyverse game, the power of...

...has compelled me to sign-up for the following.

I'll host Game 17 or 18, and the theme will be...

Oh, that's right!

It will possibly coincide with the start of Idol 8!!  :D

You're going to be Ryan Seacrest? :)

I want to be Paula Abdoul!

American Idol is one of my guilty pleasures.

I'll be Seacrest, and at this moment, the judges will be off-limits. :(

(my plan's to incorporate them in the overall scheme of things)

But things can change, the idea came to me this morning while Daughtry was on my work's radio.

I'm such a goober when it comes to Idol. I love it too much.

Okay, I'm going to sign-up to host Game XVII. I actually have the game all mapped out while I was scribbling and stuff earlier this morning, and the American Idol theme is intact. With that in mind, with the interactive nature of the show, I really want to incorporate that aspect into this particular game...as I'm even going to be having Round Table members, who aren't playing it, be involved in some capacity (I know exactly how I'm doing that, too). Oh...and as for the roleplaying aspect of it, I'll give everyone a vote, prior to signups, of selecting a singer from the Top 24 from any of the seven seasons to date, or to roleplay as yourself.

Anyhoo, this should be a ton of fun...theme weeks will be involved for the citizen vote rounds...and the judges will be critiquing your posts!  ;)

Would it have to be people who appeared on Idol or just singers in general?

I guess I could be Kellie Pickler. She's almost Paula Abdul crazy.

Would it have to be people who appeared on Idol or just singers in general?

The singers available would've to be from any of the Top 24's from the past seven seasons. There's a cornucopia of great singers/characters to choose from. For example, here's the Top 12 from the funtastic fifth season of Idol...

http://www.americanidol.com/contestants/season5/

There's 7 in the above group that make me giggle just thinking of them.

I guess I could be Kellie Pickler. She's almost Paula Abdul crazy.

Amanda, what's a ballsy?  :D

She was craptacular, and I so remember dying from laughter with the Worsters in regards to her "Bohemian Rhapsody" performance. That was one for the ages.

If I were to choose a singer for this game, it would be tough...I loved the sass of Noriega and the OG, Kevin Covais, delivered my all-time favorite Idol performance (Part Time Lover)...but in the end, I'd choose the penis with ears, Daughtry, and have fun w/ his ginormous ego.

And I'm so hoping someone chooses...

She was so much fun, and we almost got her into Top 12! *shakes fist at TPTB*
