But wouldn't he end up impaled on the pole the ball slides down?

Everybody wins.

Yeah I've wanted to see something like that for ages, maybe with multiple episodes centred on a set of characters for short arcs. So we'd see a Klingon based story for example (though probably not them as they're quite played out I think).

Doctor Who?

That sounds good but it may blow the budget for a TV show.

I always thought a Starfleet Academy series, done in that vein, could be excellent. It would cover different eras, and would sometime feature well-known characters, but most of the time wouldn't. Unfortunately, network TV hasn't been kind to anthology series the last few years...

A friend of mine has been insisting since Enterprise was cancelled that they should do a 1 season only series set in the "Mirror, Mirror" universe...

Yeah that would be good too, I like the Mirror Universe (it's more believable as a reason the planets might be in confederation really).

I"d go for a Mirror Universe show.  It's too bad both versions of Jadzia Dax are dead though.  :'(

A PI show/buddy comedy.   Torgortega.  They shamble around, disgust everyone and solve crimes.

Harry Potter would probably work as a TV show.

Who cares as long as we've got T'Pol in that mirror universe uniform?

As long as were going all geeky here...

They should have made The Last Starfighter into a TV show.  Kept the same tongue-in-cheek attitude, it could have been big.

Shatner would have made a great replacement Centauri if Robert Preston wasn't interested.

I would not only watch that, I'd by the box set of the show in every format.

I'm still trying to find the book of the musical.

There are lots of Vertigo comics that would make great HBO or Showtime series:

100 Bullets
Fables
Y-The Last Man
Hellblazer

Hellblazer

Absolutely I'd love to see somebody adapt Hellblazer some time, either on tv or as film...

I'd make some snarky comment like "Constantine doesn't count?" if it weren't for the fact that Constantine REALLY doesn't count.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.
