There are lots of Vertigo comics that would make great HBO or Showtime series:

100 Bullets
Fables
Y-The Last Man
Hellblazer

I think Preacher has been in the HBO pipeline for a while now.  And Y-The Last Man will be coming to theatres soon.

I would like a The Walking Dead series.  Zombies!!! 
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

The Preacher deal at HBO recently fell apart.

Just as well, really, I didn't want to see the guy who did Daredevil touching that franchise.  But they guy who plays Desmond on Lost would have made a great choice to play Cassidy.

Also a good cartoon based on the Avengers (the comic characters, not the British ones).

I really loved the Justice League series (though season one was a bit rocky) and I'd like to see them take a similar approach to Marvel.  There's lots of stuff there that hasn't been used for cartoons yet.  I'd rather see this then the 4th X-Men cartoon.
