Try The Adventures of Brisco County Jr , the Bruce Campbell western sci-fi comedy mash-up that was brillilant but cancelled immediately.

My favorite Hitchcock movie is one of his lesser works: The Trouble With Harry

Try Key Largo, one of Humphrey Bogart's lesser works.

I like the Atari 520ST, my favourite 16-bit computer of the early 90s.

Try virtual boy.  It might give you a headache but there were some fun games on there.  YOU HEAD A SPLODE!

I'm a big fan of Devo and the Aquabats!

I love my inhaler.

Next, as I said before, I really enjoyed Bong Joon Ho's Parasite.  Looking for another eat the rich genre bending epic.  Whatcho got?

I'll throw you a curveball and go with Headhunters (2011).  A slick Norwegian crime movie where Aksel Hennie is a buggy-eyed short guy (think the Norwegian steve buscemi) who gets by on his balls and his wits to scam Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie from GoT).  One is left with the impression Aksel Hennie is the coolest guy on the fucking planet.

I love the first half of Spielberg's War of the Worlds.

Hmm...  This one is surprisingly tough.  There's no shortage of alien invasion movies but I feel like most of them are action movies.  Speilberg's film isn't all out horror but there is a sense of dread as Earth is exposed to something far greater than anyone can deal.  If it is the part of the first half that is questing through a dark apocalyptic landscape, go with Annihiliation, the recent sci-fi thriller about a quest into a land where the beauty and horror of entropy is on full display.  If it is that initial invasion scene in particular, strangely, I can only think of comedies that fit the bill, like This is the End (which I liked at the time but I don't know if it would be as funny on second viewing).  If you read comics, the last third of the manga Gantz definitely has an epically huge and horrific invasion but its also super unabashedly exploitative if that isn't your thing.

I love the game Slay the Spire, a card-building rogue-like.  Can anyone give me a mix of video game and table top game that is fun?

Check out The Guild of Dungeoneering. It's also roguelike, but the cards actually build your dungeon as you go.

I love The Tick. Can anyone recommend another indie superhero title with humor and heart?

If Axe Cop is too obvious try Wonder Warthog by Shelton/Mavrides

I love Olivia Newton John 's musicals but she hasn't made any in like 40 years.

I'm not sure I can get exactly what you want but if you want a modern poppy musical, the British zombie Christmas musical Anna and the Apocalypse might be up your alley.

If you want something that isn't strictly a musical but is very 80s and has lots of great original songs, you might want to try Sing Street about a group of kids trying to start a pop band.

Looking for an online comic that mixes a love of classical literature and/or history in the same vein as the now departed Hark a Vagrant.
