Ordering my dvd now.  Can't wait to hear it.

In the meantime though I'm lightly cursing Tank because all that's in my head after seeing his avatar is "Do-do-dododo!"

Wow, that was an awful movie.

But it was enjoyable thanks to a great riff.

A lot of great lines and call-backs.   Really enjoyed the running joke with the betting and the face-slap.

Here's a dvd cover that just needs the new logo added to it when the contest is over.  I'll be including this when I upload the new file with the fixed intro and  the PAL version.

G*A*S*P*, get out of my head man, get out of my HEAD!!!!!!     (Oh, can we have a thinpak version of your first cover too???)

Watched the movie last night   :gouge:

OMG, what a stinker.    The science in that movie had even less to do with real science since, well, "Real Science".    I also never knew that everyone who works on archialogical sites (except the French of course) is an expert at hand to hand combat.    If that is Gerard Butler's real accent, I appload him for managing to have a career in hollywood as that is ONE THICK accent.

Now, for the riff........

Very funny riff.   Definately need to have a two or three man riff to play off of during some of the lulls in the movies.   Did not hear a lot of inside jokes or "you must have seen every riff trax to get the reference" jokes which was good.   Funny stuff.   Liked the very odd Lion's roar when Paul Walker was yelling in slow motion.

The only odd things I noticed were:

1.   The recording itself was at a pretty low volume, so I had to turn up the IPOD volume pretty high.   After doing this, I would occasionally here an odd clicking sound in the background of the riff.   I dont know if that is something just do to me having the volume up high, or if it was picking up some background noise in your recording environment.    It was not distracting, just occasionally noticable.

2.   For the "disembodio-clone" voice, you might want to come up with something that sounds a bit less like the riffer voices themselves.   Sometimes, I was wondering why you all were repeating a line of dialogue when it really was just eh disembodio.   I dont know what you could do to make it unique and not a robot sounding voice..... maybe do it in a Scobby Doo sounding voice or some other distinct sounding voice?    If any of you can do an imitation of someone, you could claim you kidnapped them and they have to do the sync lines for you, or ala Seinfeld, a judge made them your butler and they have do work for you.

The synch lines are gonna be redone by my fiance when we get a half hour where we're in the house at the same time so that problem will at least be solved.  I'll record the next one up a little louder when I make the new disk to pull the audio from so hopefully the clicking won't be a problem.  The end of the movie is so loud that the riffs were in danger of distorting which is why the beginning part was so quiet.

Any other favorite riffs PSL?

Here's a little bigger one than in the Hollow Man thread.  I'm planning on reworking this one to closer match the Timeline one as well when we redo the audio.

If you want the full sized pic send me a PM with your email address and I'll send it to you.

Oh gosh, I have such a hard time remembering individual riffs........

I enjoyed the Baby Jessica joke and the running gag of "who is next to die".

That joke is gonna go over the heads of anybody under the age of 25, but it was one of my favorites from the track.

I haven't had a chance to watch the full riff yet because (as previously stated) I apparently have a PAL DVD of the movie (damn you, Amazon!!), but when I tried to watch it the first time I noticed the very low audio as well. I had to turn my PC volume to maximum and my DVD player software's volume down to 5% just so the two audio tracks were nearly at the same level (and the riff audio was still pretty quiet even then).

So yeah, I would definitely do something about the audio when you redo it. The first couple of jokes I heard before I realized I was heinously out of synch were pretty good though, for what it's worth. :)

Still waitin' on my copy.  I told a few friends about this one at work and I think I got one of them very excited.  She loved the Micheal Chrichton novel, but absolutely despised this movie.
