Although I am disappointed that some of the extras (particularly the audio commentary and documentary, which Fantoma likely owns, and the early production footage) didn't make it onto the new edition, Legend's DVD still serves as a good supplement, not a replacement for, the Fantoma edition. 
That crystallizes my feelings about it. I will say that the pop-up commentary is pretty cool. One of the few flicks that I will willingly double-dip for (I certainly don't begrudge Richard Elfman making a living, and it is a cool film).
Saw this originally on The Movie Channel in 1983 or so. Much better now that I am of drinking age.
