Downton Abbey

If you love the series you'll love the movie, even if it is a bit exhausting, there must be a dozen plot lines in the thing, but they are juggled quite well even if it will take a few more viewings when it comes out on home video to really appreciate them all.  If it was during the series run it probably would have been spread out over 4 episodes…

Not sure it benefits at all from the big screen, only a few shots really take advantage of it, kind of makes sense since most of it takes place indoors, but it would have been nice to have some more wide shots of the countryside, maybe there were and they were cut for time, there must be 400 pages of dialog packed into the 2 hour run time.  And it is such a love letter to the series I doubt it would appeal to people that haven't seen the series, if you don't know the back stories of all the characters I think you would be very lost.  There is some exposition but it is mixed in kind of late, so if you only watched the movie you would sort of know who everyone was but you would still be missing a lot of why certain things were said.

But I did love the series so loved every minute of the movie.

And despite dipshit Dilbert's demotion and return to my local post office, he pulls another power trip with me IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!!
I bought a money counter machine like the banks use to count large sums of bills that also detects counterfeit bills to show that it's needed for our line of work counting large sums of money and everybody seemed to like it and agreed that it could be useful when it comes to sorting large sums of cash for creating money orders but then along comes dumbass while I'm working the counter and asks me "What's that?" and I told him and then he says "Who gave you authorization to bring that in?" and I said no one I brought it in to demonstrate that a money counter would be very useful to help the clerks do our job more quickly, accurately, & efficiently. Then he says that I continue to not follow the chain of command by continuing to do things without asking and I snap back that 2 days ago I had 160 $20 bills come across my counter for money orders that I had to recount 3 times because the total amount kept coming up differently each time and that something like this would have saved me time, not to mention I didn't have the time to check each bill to make sure there wasn't any that were counterfeit! And despite my convincing response he told me that I need to get it out here because I didn't get his permission and it's not 'USPS authorized'.. All this was said in front of customers that were waiting to be helped! :grr: So I boxed it up and it's currently sitting in my van.
I'm thinking I should contact the union rep about this and see if he thinks there's a grievance that can be filed with this happening in front of customers which was definitely embarrassing and unprofessional I would say..

Detective Pikachu - Eh, it was just okay at best. They did a great job with establishing the world where Pokemon exist everywhere, but I didn't really get into much else about it. Justice Smith, the actor who plays the main guy Tim, he's really good. But I think having such a recognizable voice being Pikachu didn't help me get into the movie. And as much as I like Bill Nighy, having him cast as the rich white guy behind it all made the "mystery" reveal  reeeeeally cliche and obvious.
My list is sent! Then I had an immediate regret, revised it, and resent! I think it's perfect now.

Thank you for listening F-Zeo, but I don't think I can do that. I've had problems with rage in my past and I just have to channel my pain into other emotional outlets, in this case, it's sadness. When that happens, my depression maxes out. I just have to keep telling myself "It's okay, there's no reason to be angry, it's nobody's fault, it's nobody's fault". Letting myself get angry would let the old me come out and I just refuse to let that happen.

Pretty sure that is Hellraiser.  And though you should know what you are getting into via the title, it wouldn't hurt to spoiler your gore.
