If this means you're making a riff for something still in theaters, so that you can go into the theater and listen to it with an MP3 player, which I've been wanting someone to try forever, then you sir have balls.
IF that's what you're doing.
I haven't seen it in theaters lately, but I may be wrong. I've been going to KC, not lawrence, however.
Sitting through that once must have been torture, let alone mutliple times.

Weird tone there, I take it you haven't seen it?
We actually recorded ourselves explaining the action, and got a little background sound by accident.

Any DVD covers available for this riff in the near future?
Tomorrow, I shall watch both the Quiptracks and the Rifftrax for The Happening back-to-back. I will post here with the results soon after.
PROGRESS REPORT #1 - "The Happening" unriffed
My first time with The Happening. You know, I was expecting some godawful work at Battlefield Earth levels, the way people were talking off to it. Oh, it's a bad movie, but not nearly the worst thing I've ever seen. If anything, I enjoyed the visuals work, which has always been Shyamlan's strong point. The plot, blah. The acting... well, I don't think the acting in itself was bad. I'd credit the sissy Wahlberg lines and disjointed nothings on the screenplay.
Let's see what two more viewings do to me.

Really? I thought this was even worse that crap like Battlefield Earth and Batman and Robin, because at least those have things happening on screen (note the irony here). This was an hour and a half of slow talking and closeups that were WAY too close up. This was boring bad, as apposed to goofy bad.
At least it's short? And, in contrast to Battlefield Earth, it has more than one color...
[Wahlberg] Hey Wind....how you doin'? I'm starring in Max Payne this weekend. We should go see it together....what da'ya think? Ok, then. Say hi to your mother for me. [/Wahlberg]
Well, we've had a decent number of downloads, but not much feedback...
If you've seen this, PLEASE let us know what you thought, even if you think it sucked!
You mean here or on your website?

Both, I guess. On the site is more important though.
And thanks.

That shouldn't happen... how long ago did you try that?
Our webmaster changed some things and we'd like you to try again, if it's not too much trouble. If it still doesn't work, email us.
If I remember right, when I was at your site to pick up the free "Jurassic Park" riff, the account-creation process said something about how you weren't setup to accept charges from my location (or some words along those lines). What's the chances that this [The Happening] would be available as an iRiff?

We are close to releasing our next track: Mission Impossible 2, on our site. We need to record it. I guess we're not really that close, but we're hoping to have it out by the new year. After that, we're hoping to do a quick redo of Lady in the Water, since it's our oldest, and one of the free tracks that people judge us by. The next episode of the show is also in the works, but it's on hold until MI:2 is done.
Darth Geek: We took your words to heart and bought a copy of Hulk this evening.

A-hah, in revisiting the site I see where the problem pops up. If I pick a free Quiptrack (in this case, "Lady in the Water"), then when I go through the checkout process I'm told: "Sorry, we are not accepting payments from your region at this time. Please contact us for alternate arrangements." So apparently that's side-effect of having nothing that I need to pay for, but when I saw the message I assumed it was not possible for me to buy from the site.
In any case, all's well for me. Just thought I'd mention what seems to produce that confusing message, in case other visitors to your site are thrown off by it the way I was.
Nice! Love what you did! I am wishing we could give you more to work with, but I really like the creative alternatives to the riffer-heads-on-bodies thing.
I've been thinking about modding Mr McQ for each release. For example, give him a Van Helsing hat, put a knife in his eye for The Happening, sharp teeth for Jurassic Park, etc.
That's an awesome cover! I never did find the top hat though... Unless you were sneakily referring to the one on Frankenstein's monster on the Van Helsing cover

Nope, the tophat is on this cover......... somewhere.................
