Rank the new one!

10, didn't feel as satisfying as a "new" Rifftrax but still adds enough jokes to keep its high rating.
-
Went with a 9, fittingly enough. There was just enough new and changed material to make it awesome. I was a little worried about paying for a Riff when I already had the dvd with the solo-commentary, but it was well worth it.

It takes a lot for me to give a riff a solid 10.
This one was so funny that I was laughing until I ached.
Solid job
Solid 10

I gave it a solid 8....very funny, but it still had some of the same jokes as Mike's solo effort. Still, I found it very funny.

About a 7 for me.
It was funny. They did a great job. It just felt ... kind of awkward hearing the same jokes as the Mike solo track. Funny track, but I couldn't shake that feeling of deja vu.

I gave it a 10. The only thing that kept reminding me that it WASNT a classic MST3k episode was the lack of shadowrama. I laughed from the start to the finish.
I go to levee town.

I will have to listen to the solo riff again to compare the two and see how different they are

Awesome stuff. I loved the three man action....wait...let me back up.
I really enjoyed the personalities at play in the 3-man rifftrax.

I watched the entire Mike Nelson Plan 9 and wasn't that fond of it, so I was pleased when the 3-Riff version came out. But I wasn't even able to finish it. I don't know. Maybe I just really, really, hate the movie itself. Ed Wood gives me the creeps, and not in a fun way.

I'll give it a 10. I did not like the original-riff version. It seemed Mike had too many riffs about Bela Lugosi and heroin, and after awhile that felt like it was getting mean-spirited. In the 3-riffer version, when Bill Corbett says "Oh Bela, was heroin really worth this humiliation?", that sounded more like genuine sadness that Bela had fallen so low.
I liked the 3-riffer version so much that I also bought the "On Demand" version. At this point I've watched it so many times that I can't help but think of all the other riffs they could have done. It's amazing how many plot-holes there are in this movie!
I think rifftrax just work better when there are at least two riffers. That allows one to make really bad jokes (such as bad puns), and then have someone mock-hit him...
Detective (actor): "Say lieutenant"
Kevin: "Okay. . . . 'Lieutenant!' "
(heavy slap sound)
Kevin: "Ow! I'm sorry!"

I give it an eight. I didn't see the Mike solo version. I enjoyed this more than the last few others I've seen. Love the riffs on the head femmy alien guy and all the riffs with the pilot and his wife. Great riffing also in the last scene during the guy's incessant rambling (okay, we're the ball?). Add to that Tor and Bela and there's lots to like here. A few dead spots but overall pretty good.

I gave it a ten. Really made the movie worth watching again--TWICE! Felt like a good MST3K episode from back in the day. One I kept wishing MST3K would do, and now via RiffTrax all is right with the world of Ed Wood.
