Bugger the movies. The Howard shorts and novellas are were it's at. Wonderful stuff.

I've been a fan since the old black & white "Savage Sword of Conan" comics from Marvel. Eventually I got into the novels, and they are the best written action stories I've ever read. Recently I read Howard's "Savage Tales of Solomon Kane" and enjoyed it as well.
