Title: Trouble ripping my own DVD of Dr. Moreau
Post by: M.gunnerQuist on January 04, 2008, 10:56:46 AM
I own the DVD of Dr. Moreau. Like I do with other RiffTrax, I engineer my own DVD with the riffing included.

But I have had trouble ripping this disc. Has anyone else? What programs do people use.

This is an old problem that I gave up on last year. Now I'm trying it again. Still no luck.

Yeah, doesn't that have different encryption or something?  I think I had to correct the audio/video sync when I got it ripped.

AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter will rip it with no problem.  If you're demuxing to M2V and AC3 files, there will be an -83ms delay on the AC3 file that will need correcting.  delaycut will do that easily.

Actually I found a delay of 7007 ms on the AC3. That leaves 7 seconds of silence for the FBI warning.
