Title: Find a zero percenter on rottentomatoes.com
Post by: Crazy_88s on December 25, 2007, 07:39:19 PM
This will probably be a very short thread. If for no other reason than that there are very few movies even on rottentomatoes.com that have a zero percent rating. I will start this off though with the turd that is Superbabies 2: Baby Geniuses.

Life may be beautiful but this movie (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/1119026-pinocchio/) sure ain't.

Keep on truckin'! On second thoughts, don't (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/space_truckers/)

Turns out there can be more than one, atrocious (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/highlander_2_the_quickening/) movies (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/highlander_3_the_final_dimension/) that is.

Never has a movie been so woefully misnamed (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/attraction/)

The most recent one I could find was Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/ballistic_ecks_vs_sever/). Woof!

I'm not sure I could give any film with Lucy Liu in it 0%.   :)

Here's one (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/alien_from_la/) close to every MSTies heart....

This may have made a very bad film (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/mars_needs_women/) (it was directed by Larry Buchanan so how could it not be)....but it did make a great sample for a cool song.

I could do more but there's only 21 zero percenters total....leave some for the others.

(they're not that hard to find, actually)

Especially once you find the option to filter by 0% titles. :D

Well you still have to give it one other criteria to look at....

Which I have to correct what I said about there only being 21 total.  I forgot when I wrote that that I had to tell it a genre.  There's only 21 sci-fi movies total.  Not sure how many of the other genres have zero rating movies.  I'm assuming about one each at the very least.

Yeah, I came up with 7 entries with the criteria of 0% rating, later than 2000, with at least 20 user ratings. Ballistic and Baby Geniuses 2 were the two most notable entries from that list.

Hmm...I've actually SEEN Space Truckers.  It was crap.  And as I recall, it was preceded by a bunch of trailers almost as long as the movie itself.

It would be really helpful if some site would rate movies on an "MST3K-meter", meaning how funny-bad they are. The closest thing I've found is:

* raises hand sheepishly*

I saw it on HBO and it was soooo bad, I could not turn away.

I feel a slight sense of Schadenstolz that one of my finds has generated such conversation :)

I should try to watch it now.
