Title: What have we learned?
Post by: Raven on October 09, 2007, 01:20:37 PM
I learned that encouraging your father to have a hobby isn't necessarily a good thing.

I learned that when you put on a Goblin mask you automatically look like a bad guy from Power Rangers.

I learned that when you are in a lab doing experiments with spiders, learn one is missing, and then get BITTEN by one, letting someone know isn't necessary or even warrants a second thought.

I learned the best way to earn a woman's love is to act like a sick puppy whenever she comes by and smile a pervy smile in near silence until she comes around.

One thing I haven't quite learned and am still curious...is he strong?

Asking a question like that here, that's just dangerous.  If Mike ever reads this thread you might need a bulletproof vest.

I've learned that Uncle Ben was shot by Trey Parker. Oh, Trey. Were the reviews on Baseketball really that bad?

I learned that a giant, pale white, clearly horribly infected, insect wound that makes you woozy, is by no means a reason to go to the hospital!

I also learned that the Green Goblin can't even kill Aunt May! Untill I remembered that in the comics she's had about a thousand heart attacks and strokes, various comas, etc., so maybe I should be complimenting them on adhering to the source material.

Unfortunately, the source material for the Green Goblin was Power Rangers.

I learned that Mike has rage issues.

Poor, poor Kevin's groin.

Little known fact here and I have seen the images myself with my own eyes, but they did attempt the traditional Green Goblin costume for the movie and it looked even worse than what we got, though I'm partial to the body armor more than the Halloween costume considering Osborn was trying to sell this prototype body armor to the military. If you ever go to the Spider-man forums over at Superherohype.com you may find the thread with Defoe is the Halloween costume, though I doubt it since the links might be dead and the thread stuffed away in the archives, which is a no man's land.

I learned that if you wake up having inexplicably gained 15 pounds of muscle and now have perfect vision, it's just 'weird'.

I learned that for some reason, people seem to think Kirsten Dunst is hot.

I learned that during his transmogrifillallifacation (it's a medical term, I looked it up ;) ) Peter Parker had some serious holes in his DNA chain.

I also learned that said "super" spider that bit PP just ran off, but apparently was satisfied biting only one person.

Well once he bit Peter he went through a profound change in his DNA, turning half whiny emo teenager.  He no longer bites people because, you know, what's the point?

I learned that it's possible to go through several traumatic near-death experiences but not need counseling or psychiatric drugs later on. Mary Jane must be one tough cookie.

Tom Cruise says so, so it must be true.

I learned that it's typical at the first sign of catastrophe for Stan Lee to just kidnap the nearest Austrian girl.
