The one guy i would be interested in playing online (Virtua Fighter 5) doesn't support online play ???.
how mk2 is a blast and playing it live is GREAT. add me to your friends man we can go at it sometime.
hey joshway how do you like folklore? did you download the extra stuff? i thought is a pretty fun game and the online dungeon mode is a cool thing too.
all ps3 peoples ought to check out uncharted. its a thoughly great game.
Oh, I got a PS3 a couple of weeks back. I don't have any games for it though. It's my Blu-Ray player. :)
Any good RPGs for it?
It will play any of the ones that are DRM free. (I think there's 4 of them now)

I just downloaded the demo for Uncharted last night, and it's a lot of fun! When I get bored with GTA 4 in a few months, I'll have to pick this up.
Hey k1, it was fun playing Rock Band with you last night! I haven't been playing it that much lately, but I got a bug in my ass to 5-gold-star All The Small Things on expert guitar. I had just finished it up when you came on.
Good times.
Well, I seem to have PS3 Ownership now, and I'm wondering which games I should dive into. I'm not big on shooters, and I love me some strategy and RPGs. Also, I've had an Xbox 360 for a couple years, so I have most of the must-haves that the two have shared. Any reccomendations?
Also, what games are good for download? Lot of cool looking games, but it's hard to tell which ones are worth the 5-20 bucks.

PSN: iverdawg
My PSN is: Smoot27
As that implies, you will only find me in football games about 90% of the time.
Look for OrtegaTacos on PSN.
My user name on PSN is nrrork, just like here.
I don't really get on there much, though. The problem is almost all of my friends are 360 owners. Which means-- in addition to taking my share of ball-busting from the more fanboyish of them-- I don't really know anyone on PSN. I like my PS3 very much, but not being able to play games with my friends online is about my one regret for picking it over the 360. Also, my wallet cried a little. ^_^
Anyone want to try Ghostbusters online when it gets released?
I added you. You probably won't see me on much, since I'm an overnight worker, but just keep a lookout once you get it.Anyone want to try Ghostbusters online when it gets released?
Absolutely. We'll have to see how my funds are in a couple weeks, but I'm going to try to get the game as soon as I can.
In a day of boredom I picked up Buzz Quiz TV. *shrug* Kinda fun for a trivia game.

I'm a fan of of it. It's great to pull out when you have friends/family over, especially if they aren't typically gamers. Most of the people I've shown the game to end up really liking it. I have purchased most of the question packs too...all told, I've spent ~$100 on this game! I just wish they had customizable characters, seems like it should have been a no-brainer for a game like this.

I added you, so look for my request. And I'll probably be going for those trophies as well.Anyone want to try Ghostbusters online when it gets released?
Didn't even see this. Sure, I'd be up for it. Though I may occasionally dive for a trophy if I see a chance. I'm a sucker for 100% completion; after playing MGS2 on all the difficulties just to get all the dog tags, you would've thought I'd stop doing things like that, but I can't help it (which means I'm screwed for MK vs. DC; anybody who says they've completed the Kombo Challenges is either some sort of god or lying).
WTF? Hulu no longer works on my PS3!
WTF? Hulu no longer works on my PS3!
Hulu blocked the PS3 browser's access to their site. Apparently they decided that the playstation was "hacking" their site and accessing it without showing ads, or something. You can verify this by putting the PS3 browser-ID into your PC - bingo, your PC is now blocked from Hulu as well.
http://www.itworld.com/personal-tech/69920/hulu-closes-door-ps3-owners-doesnt-tell-us-why
G4 received a response from Hulu that might leave one more bewildered about the change than not having read it. Hulu calls the change a "tough decision," one that it would "do so when we believe it improves our long-term prospects to build a more enduring, legal solution to that same problem." Clear?http://kotaku.com/5315579/hulu-tries-to-explain-why-its-blocking-the-ps3-fails
Probably not. But Hulu's response also touches on "the windowing strategy [that] is still dominant in the business." What they mean by that, we think, is the availability of content at theaters or on television, and when that content is made available on DVD, Blu-ray and via digital distribution. And how the entertainment industry kind of likes that model. And that things like the PS3 are messing with their model. And that somebody holding the rights to that content doesn't like that.
So, if anybody wants to get together for a game of...well, any kind (assuming Ghostbusters here), what would be the best way to contact? I tried putting out an open call for a game a few weeks ago using the message center on the PS3, but by the time it was over I noticed nobody on my 'Friends' list had even signed in to be able to read it (I did get somebody, but I was able to talk to them on the phone), let alone know if anyone was interested in gaming anyway. I don't want to necessarily be sending private messages to everybody, but maybe an open call on the thread here might work. Of course, probably giving a little more notice than a couple of hours would probably help, too... :)
I haven't had time to play a lot lately, but if I can plan ahead a bit I might have better luck getting together to bust some ghosts. I don't get up too early on Saturdays, but I might try and make an exception this week.
How's 11 AM sound? Should be early enough to keep the rest of the day open, but not early enough to destroy the wonderful, wonderful benefits of the weekend.
That time should work for me. I've yet to pick up a headset though, all the stores around here stopped selling them for some reason.
I had to get off my ass and mow the lawn.
As far as other online games go, you should definitely check out Battlefield 1943.
But I'll DEFINITELY be up for some Uncharted 2 online when that comes out.The first one hasn't really impressed me yet, but I'll probably get the second anyway
Hi. If any of you see a friend request from "Tardoz", it's me. I only own GTA IV and Infamous for now, but I rent often.
GTA IV online is really fun, especially melee deathmatches.
Just picked up Buzz TV (surprised to find it had been heavily discounted when I took it to the register, got it for less than half-price with tax), so I'd be interested in trying that out sometime soon.
Just to let people know that I'll be online a little more often now that I've finally set up my wireless network. The name's Dangermaus091. I really don't have many multiplayer games, but who knows in the future? *shrug*
I don't particularly enjoy multiplayer versus. I don't mind co-op though. :)

I'm still missing a bunch of the LBP trophies that you need 4 players for. (Main reason being I can never get 3 other friends online at the same time!)

Well, if you can find two other people, and the trophies aren't that hard to get (I'm out of practice) I can help you out with that. I promise I won't start slapping the other players at the most critical moments.
count me in on the LBP trophy hunting. Spaceforarent, I need to friend you.
.just started Fallout 3...
So, I decided to get online and create my own Buzz! quiz...it's an MST3K quiz, I know it's probably been overdone.
But, I just checked its status on-line...it's currently been played 11 times, and apparently has been rated 1 star each time. Don't know if people are rating it that way because of difficulty (it's currently listed as 'Hard'), but considering one of the top MyBuzz quizzes is somebody rattling off the 'Taco Bell' ingredients and you guess the taco, I don't know if I should just shrug it off, or wonder what I did wrong.
GB Patch came out today. Graphics are...SLIGHTLY better (it's still not HD, but they changed the filtering system and it's a lot sharper than it used to be). Polar Slimer was the first ghost I caught, though, so that much is fixed. Pay Day is also supposed to be done as well, so what is everybody waiting for? ;D
I need to play this more, I haven't put nearly as much time into it as I should have....You're pretty close to getting that platinum, no? I gotta give you credit, you don't play a ton of different games, but the one's you do play, you play the shit out of 'em, and get those platinums. ;)
Was there no PSN update yesterday? All the stuff in the new releases is from the 20th when I logged in this AM.
Don't know if it was only a local thing, but I picked it up at Best Buy. It was on sale for $34.99, but I got it a little cheaper with Reward Zone coupons and those 10% thingies they mail out and have expire right before something I want to buy is released.
PS3 name is dizzab.I'm trying to play Uncharted now, but from what I gather the new 3.00 update is causing freezing issues. I get about an hour or two of play in an then it will freeze so that I have to restart my PS3. If I play something else for a while it usually works again, but only for another few hours. Hope they release a patch soon
I am totally loving inFamous right now. Just started about a week ago, don't get to play much with the baby taking up my time, but i work it out. I think i'm about halfway through (got about half of the second island lit up).
After that, it's more Fat Princess and Uncharted (getting ready for Uncharted 2).
There's a firmware 3.01 update now that supposedly fixes the freezing issues with Uncharted. (http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-12218-Providence-Video-Game-Examiner~y2009m9d14-Firmware-31-Live) So, continue your treasure hunting!I'll have to see if I can get it to download on my computer and transfer it to update...my internet is gone right now, forcing me to find random unsecured signals

On Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 it shows the level you're on and which character you're playing in the Friends list of the XMB. That's kinda cool.

I noticed that too, very cool. Should be interesting to see what other game developers can/will put into your status on the Friends list.
My wife was playing against SJP on Buzz the other night while I was at the store. I really gotta start playing that game again and finish off the trophies.
I think I need another 40 wins on sofa vs sofa... man that seems like a long way off. I can hardly ever get a game going online.
Redfield and I played a few games of Buzz the other night, we each got a win. I was quite drunk, and the first game Redfield was winning the whole time, but I won it at the very end. He then annihilated me the second game.
I noticed you had the Horror Movie pack, have you bought any of the other packs? The only one I haven't bought is the video game one (ironically enough).
Yeah, that's the only pack I've got. I've been meaning to pick up the others eventually...the only one I'm iffy about is the election 2008 one (it's not that I don't think I would know anything, I just don't think election trivia is worth 8 bucks).
Well, some news, especially to anyone who wants to upgrade their hard drive at some point or get the new model PS3...
I was about to install some new Buzz quiz packs, when I found out I was running out of HD space. While for the most part I could probably rectify this by deleting some game data and making some room (which I've done for some stuff I don't play as much anymore), I didn't want to have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling every game I have just to make room, so I bought a new hard drive...500 gigs, more than plenty of space to upgrade.
Unfortunately, right afterwards I found out that while game data can be added and removed whenever you need it to be, save data might be a different matter. Apparently some stuff, like the save data for Wolfenstein and Mega Man 9, is somehow connected to the console so that you can't copy the data to another PS3 (I guess to prevent stuff like, "Oh, thanks for the save game info, man! Now I don't actually have to earn online trophies, I can just have yours!"). While Megaman 9 isn't an issue (if I have to start that over again, no big deal), Wolfenstein is, at least, until I've earned all the MP trophies...after that I don't care. At least for a few games (like RE5) they've patched it to remove this stupid copy nonsense, so 90% of my stuff would go over fine...it's the 10% that's being idiotic.
So, yeah, I unfortunately have to cut back on my Buzz stuff until I can finish Wolfenstein up, or they decide to patch it and remove that crap. The major thing that sucks is I know nobody on here has that game for PS3, so I can't ask anyone to join up and do some MP with that. But for awhile I was scared that this would be a problem for pretty much ALL of my MP games, like GTA IV, Ghostbusters, Uncharted 2, and the rest, which thankfully don't seem to have a lock, and once Wolfenstein is cleared up I should be all set.
But for anyone who isn't sure if you have a locked game and you need to upgrade, make sure you check two things...this page here:
http://www.ps3blog.net/2009/08/26/locked-game-saves-on-the-ps3/ (http://www.ps3blog.net/2009/08/26/locked-game-saves-on-the-ps3/)
This one has the list of all currently "save-locked" games, which I notice Rock Band 1 & 2 are part of. Also check this page here:
http://www.ps3blog.net/community/general-ps3-discussion/activating-deactivating-your-ps3-system/ (http://www.ps3blog.net/community/general-ps3-discussion/activating-deactivating-your-ps3-system/)
This is more for downloaded games and video after a new hard drive or PS3 system than anything else, since you can download your stuff from the PSN store on up to 5 activated systems at a time. If you don't officially return an "activation credit" from a broken or upgraded system, you'll permanently lose a credit. Thankfully, unlike the save games, the credits are part of your PSN ID, not your console, which is how people are saying these saves should be handled anyway (makes sense, you can back-up saves based on your ID, not on which physical system you happen to have at the time).
I'm in a similar boat with my 60 GB model. I'm pretty much at the point where I'm deleting stuff whenever I get a new game.
Unfortunately my PS3 doesn't care for my WD Passport Drive, so I'm stuck until I manage to clear off another one of my external drives...
But that blows about the locked game saves. But did I read it correctly that you'll be ok as long as you're swapping out the HD with a new one into the same PS3?
Earlier this year I upgraded my 40GB PS3 hard drive to a 320GB, and it was largely painless, with the exception of my Rock Band 2 data. It's completely ridiculous that you cannot transfer save game data from that game. I had gone through the game, unlocked every venue and song, and none of that transferred over. I don't care what the reasoning is, it makes no sense that you can't (at the very least) transfer your scores and progress in the game. So I had to start all over to have access to all the songs. Which didn't really bother me too much, the game is fun and I don't mind playing it from the start...but I also lost access to my online "band". The server remembers the band name, so you can't re-name your new band the same name, and I had put a decent amount of time into customizing my band members appearances, the band logo, etc. In this second playthrough, I haven't touched any of the charater creation stuff, it was too time consuming the first time. At this point I just want access to all the songs (which I've done).
So, k1, beware of upgrading your hard drive, your RB2 stuff will completely disappear.
Peggle & Peggle Nights is out on PSN this Thursday. (Finally)
Because playing it on my laptop and DS wasn't enough.
I would really like to platinum Buzz....I'm pretty close, but with the new one coming out tomorrow, I doubt I will. I need A LOT more online wins.
My PS3 died this weekend. Flashing red light. It was a first-gen 60 gig, so even if I buy a new one, no more PS2 games for me. I suppose it lived a good long life.
I believe the appropriate expression is "blerg."
EDIT: Just heard from Sony that I can get it repaired for $130 by mailing it to them. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it?
I decided to go with the trade-in. Because A) I rarely play PS2 games anymore, B) the slims are less likely to overheat and die like this one did, and C) bigger hard drive means more downloads.
(Still trying to convince myself it was the best choice.)

Speaking of PS3, still always up for multiplayer. Suckered into Modern Warfare 2 now, but I'm always game for a couple rounds of Buzz or what have you.
It took me awhile, but I'm finally here:

:)
Get this... last night a PSN friend (who I actually know in real life) sent me a message. Just as the little notification at the top right appeared, my system shut off, leaving the red light at the front blinking. Now every time I try to turn it on, the lights go green, yellow, then blinking red.
Now I'm scared. I wonder if it's to do with this recent thing. I've got the fat 80g that came with Metal Gear Solid. I'm guessing Sony will want me to buy a new slim one. Those sneaky fuckers.

Wow. $250 CDN to get Sony to fix it... regardless of what is wrong with it? Looks like they want us all to get the slim ones, I guess I'll have to. The 3 year replacement plan from best buy sounds like it might be worth the 70 bucks.
I may try to repair the old one eventually, and try to sell it or something. I noticed people on ebay were bidding up to 80 bucks or so for a fat PS3 that didn't work, so who knows.
You know, I like the PS3 and all, but between the dang addictive trophies and WiiRipOffs, why don't they focus on the one thing the PS3 will be capable of doing in a few months that the other ones won't? You know, 3-D gaming over an HDMI cable with full color glasses? Sure, put off THAT firmware update as long as possible, but make sure we get our PS Moves as soon as possible!
(At least, I THINK the PS3 is the only one that could deliver 3-D stuff, since it'll be Blu-Ray based, and granted, it's only v1.3 so it won't be full progressive 3-D, but at least getting that out the door would be a start, wouldn't it?)
I never sell games. Well, very rarely. Still got a bunch of PS2 games, though I haven't played any in awhile (though I still like to). Would suck if my 80 gb died on me, since after I've finished a couple of games in here I'd love to dig out Silent Hill 2 and go through that again.
Although, there are always hit and miss rumors about backwards compatibility...I think enough people have raised a stink that Sony isn't completely against the idea of resurrecting it sometime in the future, once they've made back enough money selling PS3 units. Either that, or figuring out how to re-code PS2 games to work via download from the PS store. Hate to throw out my old library just because Sony decided my investment is obsolete.
But then, considering I still have a working PS2, several Amigas, and an occasionally working Commodore 64 in the basement, maybe I'm not the best person to ask about trading-up for backwards compatibility purposes. ;D
Speaking of PS3, still always up for multiplayer. Suckered into Modern Warfare 2 now, but I'm always game for a couple rounds of Buzz or what have you.

Due to the availability of an extensive line-up of PS3™ system titles, the 120GB PS3™ system is not backwards compatible with PlayStation®2 titles, but does maintain backwards compatibility for some original PlayStation® titles.

Anyone picking up Modnation Racers for ps3? I thought I saw you can create race teams with other players over PSN.Absolutely. I'll be pre-ordering it soon
Preordered mine when I saw the ten dollar credit on amazon. But they must be running low on stock because it said it won't ship until June 2nd. (And I think it comes out on the 25th of this month)You can get release-date delivery. Only costs me a dollar more than standard shipping

You'll have to let me know how it is, I have homebrew on mine so the official release won't play. :'(
Anyone else not able to sign into the Playstation Network right now? Just wondering if it's my internet or the PSN.
Well I'll be getting Playstation Plus, so I'll be sure to post some of my thoughts and whatever stuff I get from it here. I just hope this means they're trying to make online play even better (not that I've ever really had a lag/connection issue) by letting whoever wants to be charged for it have that option.
The games I ended up grabbing were Uncharted and Little Big Planet, to supplement the freebie (and surprisingly entertaining) Shaun White Snowboarding that came with it. Haven't played either exclusive yet, as much of my available play time last night was occupied with trying to troubleshoot the failure/reboot loop that occurred while I was upgrading to System Update 3.30. Not the greatest first impression, I'm afraid.
Skipping inFamous at least for now, since it sounds too similar to Crackdown. I had God of War 1 on the PS2, but never really got into it. I'll probably pick up the 1&2 bundle eventually, just so I can enjoy the remastered digital boobies in high def.
Honestly, I though Crackdown was more fun than inFamous. Another exclusive the PS3 has is the rather awesome Valkyria Chronicles, though I don't know if turn-based strategy games ala X-Com are your thing.
Just for the record, I wasn't in purgatory, I've just been lurking. I can't access the boards at my work anymore, and with 50-60 hour work weeks, I'm usually too tired / worn out to do much more than skim the boards from home either.
And Steve-O, I know you weren't bashing the system, I was mostly just responding to offer some game suggestions. :)
Much like Hulu Plus on Xbox requires an Xbox Live Gold subscription on top of the $9.99 monthly fee, some language found on the Hulu Plus site says that only PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to use the service on PS3.
The HTML source for the Hulu Plus "Devices" page includes specific instructions for the PS3, which are presumably meant to be displayed when the service goes live. The instructions describe how to redeem a code in the PlayStation Store to download the client (which means that Hulu isn't planning to release this as a disc-only service like Netflix -- yay!) with the following caveat: "Note: you must be a subscriber of the Playstation Plus Network."
While this seems pretty clear on the surface, the fact remains that neither Hulu nor Sony have intentionally told the public anything. Sony's Patrick Seybold told Joystiq that "We'll have more info on how and when Hulu Plus will be coming to PlayStation 3 soon." It's quite possible that the specifics of the agreement are still being worked out.
PlayStation Plus Hulu = A console Hulu Plus preview, which will become available to "select" subscribers of Sony's PlayStation Plus program. Posting on the official PlayStation blog, PSN senior director Susan Panico has explained that all Sony subscribers may download the Hulu Plus software as of today and "request an invitation to the exclusive preview." If you're already a member of Hulu Plus (you can request an invitation to subscribe online), you'll be able to access the preview today through your PlayStation Plus account.
Hulu's enhanced streaming service, which provides access to TV shows from ABC, FOX, NBC, ETC, will incur a monthly fee of $9.99 -- even to PlayStation Plus subscribers participating in the sneak peek. It'll become available (and effectively cheaper) to all PS3 owners "in the coming months," Panico said (so much for that "July" launch, huh?). An Xbox 360 version is slated for launch in early 2011.

It'll become available (and effectively cheaper) to all PS3 owners "in the coming months," Panico said (so much for that "July" launch, huh?). An Xbox 360 version is slated for launch in early 2011.
I've got it downloaded. Just waiting for an invitation now.
I think it's coming to all users after 2010, possibly due to some exclusivity contract for the XBoxFrom Joystiq:QuotePlayStation Plus Hulu = A console Hulu Plus preview, which will become available to "select" subscribers of Sony's PlayStation Plus program. Posting on the official PlayStation blog, PSN senior director Susan Panico has explained that all Sony subscribers may download the Hulu Plus software as of today and "request an invitation to the exclusive preview." Let me know if the Plus ever adds Netflix without using a disc.
So, Move is released in less than a week. Anyone planning on getting it? I'm considering it, but $100 is a bit way too much to spend right now, it'll all depend on what my car situation is by then. I may just wait until there are actual games out for it though.
Kinda wish the boy would let me play.:D :D
My thoughts about move (without having played it... just from what i researched) are that its like the eyetoy of last generation, granted they are pushing it harder this time, it will be a failure much the same. Probably fun though, I'll pick up the move set when everything can be had for dirt cheap.
Also, I love my wii. No need for this right now.

Of course, the day the Netflix app goes live is the day my PS3 refuses to connect to the internet
 Still no connection. I'll have to get working on it after the ID4 Rifftrax is over.Of course, the day the Netflix app goes live is the day my PS3 refuses to connect to the internet
Would it even be up this early? Seems like the PSN updates don't usually happen til 7pm EST at the earliest most weeks.
**Ok, it is there already & it's only a 19MB download so it took about 10 seconds. Sweet!
If there's anything I love more than candy, it's scary movies and free s**t. So 'tis the season for sweets and frights and deals; with Halloween just a few weeks away, and Sony's celebrating with some "killer" horror flick deals on the PlayStation Network video store.
Starting this Saturday, a "Midnight Movie" promotion will allow you to download and watch Bram Stroker's Dracula for free, provided you login between 5:00pm and 3:00am on Sunday. (Times are Pacific.)
The promotion will continue for the next three weeks, with MTV's Savage County and the original Nightmare on Elm Street part of the "Midnight Movie" promotions (on October 23 and October 30, respectively).
Sony is also discounting horror films with its "Halloween Deal of the Week" promotion, which includes gems like Candyman, Cabin Fever, The Descent, and... Troll 2.

Qore Episode 30 – November 2010
Yeah how does that work because i got seasons of simpsons and other things on there i want to keep safe. I need a good backup drive that will work well with the Ps3 any suggestions?
Let me know when you figure it out.
Updated the firmware the other day & played for a bit. This morning I decided to check out the My Channels thing (which told me I need to download Netflix for it to work which is odd since I already have Netflix on the PS3...) So rather than download it again I clicked on the old Netflix icon & the machine froze on me.
Then I got a "Hard Disk Database Will Be Rebuilt" (With only an option to click OK) Rebooted & the same thing.
I said OK and it looks like everythings still ok, but that was a little scary.
Subscribers to PlayStation Plus will be offered a free game every two days, platform holder Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed.
Kicking off today, the offer allows members to download a single free title from the PlayStation Store every two days, starting with retro classic Sonic the Hedgehog 2 today.
The offer includes eight PSN games, two Minis and two PSOne Classics. All games have been available on Plus over the past 18 months, and Sony reckons they’re ideal choices for newcomers to the service.
Sonic 2 will be available until December 3, after which another title will be offered. Sony recommends checking the PS Store to see what games are available and snap them up before they are gone.
Sony's Ross McGrath commented: "Remember, all these are added extras to this month's content - as a PlayStation Plus subscriber you can still expect the same level of great content during December 2011, as well as enjoying this superb offer, which is perfect for filling gaps in your collection if you're a late-comer to Plus, or even better if you've never been a subscriber before."

Hey PS+ Subscriber! The full series of the Back to the Future game is now FREE!
Downloading it even though I probably won't play it. At least not until I'm done with Skyrim.

Now, Ratchet & Clank please.
I'm getting rid of my PS3. Not happy about it, but having too much glitchy shit happening. Sorry :(Interested in selling any games/accessories to some fellow forum members?
I've decided to keep it. Doesn't look like anyone's interested anyway. I got Tom Clancy's Hawx really cheap and damn... it is taking forever for the data to install. I love some of the features of Next gen gaming platforms, but god dammit at least on the NES you didn't need to wait up to half an hour to play a game while the data is installed. Oh man, Metal Gear Solid 4 was a damn nightmare too when it came to game data.I'm getting rid of my PS3. Not happy about it, but having too much glitchy shit happening. Or even the system itself?
If you think that's bad, I remember hearing somewhere that Hideo Kojima would never release MGS4 for the 360. Not because he hates the platform, but because the data pretty much fills up the Blu-ray disc as it is. It'd reportedly take 6 DVDs to hold the game, and that's way more disc swapping than anyone has patience for.Damn! Still though, swapping discs would be faster than the 10-15 minutes it takes for another chapter to start. :)
A second one? Planning to make some sort of SLI thing with your Playstations to create some sort of mega system? ;)
Good news all.
For quite a while now, XBL users have been able to log into Live on their computers and purchase stuff and redeem codes from the website. Well, you can now do the same on the PSN by heading to: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/
This is a good thing because for one thing, I find the current PSN store on the PS3 to be rather clunky, to understate things greatly.

Do movies on PSN have the Special Features, or is it just the movie by itself?I've only downloaded one and it was a freebie rental but it was just the movie file, no special features.
You could put the save on a USB or upload it to the cloud, but you'd need to see to do that unless you knew precisely how numerous your saved data list is so you could blindly navigate the menus OR you could repeat the same steps a bunch of times, all the while pressing down on the d-pad once more than previously input before sending yet another of your saves to the cloud... if you're tenaciously determined/crazy.Yeah, that's exactly the problem. No signal, so I can't see anything.
Do you have a ps2 kicking around? Try connecting with the old rca cables. (Might have to do the trick to switch the output. Can't remember what it is but I had to do it once or twice when bringing my PS3 to my parents house before they got an hdtvYeah, I have a PS2, but my current setup involves a HDTV, so I'm not sure it still applies.
Try holding down the power button for like 30 seconds or until it beeps a couple times to reset the video connection.PS3 or TV?
I had to do that with mine. Its weird, but if you hook everything up normally and power it up while holding the power button it will reset the video connection. So turn on the tv and then hold down the PS3 power button?

Tried to add you but it gave an error saying “this user is not accepting friend requests right now”crap, sorry I think I need to adjust my account settings.
