Saw them on the Complex tour. Great stuff. I am hoping to catch them on this tour too.
-
What do they charge for seats?? They're in Moline in two weeks but I haven't decided whether to go.
-
The Sharktopus is jealous. I'm in New York but I've never seen their regular show.
Release the live album on a damn CD, Blue Men! The Complex is somewhere in my Top 20 albums and I need more goodness.
-
I went to the blue man group and it NOT a club for depressed males as I originaly believed.
That was the BLUE man group... not the blue MAN group.
-
my only blue man group experience is from Arrested Development.
I'll have to give them a listen.

I enjoy thier first CD more than the Complex album. I like the instrumental stuff more than any vocals. The regular live show is awesome. I saw them at the Luxor on Christmas Eve in 1998. It was incredible. I almost didn't go to see it because the same night Jackie Chan was singing at the MGM with a bunch of other Cantopop artists and I was tempted to see that. I decided to take pity on my wife and not force her to sit with me listening to cantopop.

My Boss saw them in concert at the Luxor in Vegas. I'm insanely jealous.
He used to be a musician, and he's been to countless concerts. He says the Blue Man Group's concert at the Luxor is the best he's ever been to. Best sound, best visuals, most comfortable venue...
When he says that, you listen.

I just saw them in Vegas this weekend. It was really awesome. The only thing I can even begin to compare it to is a Flaming Lips concert, but comparing the Flaming Lips to the Blue Man Group is like comparing this:

to the real thing.

as awesome as thier music is, i would recommend going to see a show first, they are more of a show than a music act, in my opinion anyways,
-
I wanna go to vegas just for the shows. .... and well the gambling and strippers...but MAINLY for the shows.
-
i am one of the worst gamblers in history. ever seen the cooler? i could do that EASILY. However drinking and shows made for an unforgettable evening when i was in vegas.
just a little nerd comment here: if you like star trek even slightly then quarks bar is the best place to drink in town. Order yourself a warp core breach, totally worth the insane 12 dollar price tag.

That looks cool. Somebody should make that into a movie.
-
The Blue Man group show is an incredible experience. (They had moved on to the Venetian last time I saw them in Vegas, incidentally.) I'm looking forward to the "How to be a Rockstar" tour when it comes here to Albuquerque. :^)

its really funny.
