I don't usually read a novel more than once, but I've read Delillo's White Noise several times. I just wanted to recommend it to everyone, and see if what others think about this novel.
Also, check out Brazzaville Beach by William Boyd. These are just a couple of my favorites. So there.
Peace.

I definitely agree with you on William Boyd
I've treid and failes to read White Noise several times. I can't get into his writing at all.

Delillo is very much a literature writer IMO, so I can see why some people wouldn't like him. His short fiction is much more accessible. I'm actually surprised at how much I've read by him.
I was very disappointed a few years back when it was announced there would be a White Noise movie, but it turned out to be a horror flick.
Anyone else who has read Delillo, would you agree that he can be described as a more serious Palahniuk?

OK so you would probably be a good person to ask, would you recommend Underworld? I've not read it but I was thinking about doing that. I liked Libra

I haven't gotten around to Underworld yet, but it's supposed to be his best book. And I think his longest (which is why I keep passing it over).

White Noise is a great book but it definitely takes a while to pick up steam although the slow part is pretty necessary. It's been a few years since I read it, but I enjoyed it.
