Guess I didn't realize he was 78 years old.
Sucks. Sadly, I've known several people who have gotten this diagnosis and none have lived very long after getting it.
Jeopardy is about the only game show I enjoy and it won't be the same when he's gone.

Yeah, I heard about this yesterday. It's already advanced to stage 4. Which means almost certain death. Pancreatic cancer is particularly bad, because chemotherapy doesn't work on it.

It sucks. He's one of those rare guys who, try as I might, I can't find a bad thing to say about him.
But I really think he ought to retire now. It seems like hosting the show could become too rigorous as his health declines. Sony had better be working on a replacement host.

Alex Trebek has died. He was 80 years old. Trebek had been the host of Jeopardy for 37 seasons.
