While I didn't find it to be the greatest Rifftrax ever, Neil rocked.  He had the comedic timing of an all riffing pro.

Very nice gentlemen, very nice indeed.

I had not seen this movie in years and the riff made me wonder what on earth people were thinking then.

NPH would be welcome back anytime.

Only watched the sample so far... as I don't own this one on DVD yet... But yea, great timing between Mike and Neil in that short 90 seconds... if you didn't know any better you would think they were doing this for years.

"And they all die."

It's always the obvious riffs, when perfect delivery makes the joke, that get me laughing the loudest.

Got to say, the movie seems even more psychotic, annoying, and drug-inspired now than when I last saw the film.

I love this rifftrax, it did take me back, I dont really like this movies as a whole, but watching it this way was a whole new perspective. NPH kicks ass, loved him, didnt possible think he would be this good. Personally could see him as a permanent guest.I want to see one with mike kevin and NPH

The first riff I've really looked forward to since.... The Island probably, really liked it.

NPH definately has some riffing chops!  i was really impressed with his timing and the absolute brilliance of some of his jokes.  i'd love to see him back sometime, especially if he's a third riffer.....i had in mind him, Mike, and Bill.

Ain't that the truth!

Riffed on the lyrics, or what they were doing, with one very funny instance of line replacement.

Solid Rifftrax. Didn't really get going until the factory tour began, but it was non-stop awesome from there. I blame the source material. NPH did a great job with the riffing. Maybe he did a couple more while he was around...

Solid all the way. This movie was a drug trip though. If not for the riffing, I would never watch it on its own (Oompa Loompas scare the hell out of me). Neil Patrick Harris did a very fine job, too. His timing was perfect and he played off Mike very well. I'd like to see him back for more movies in the future.

I've always found it hilarious just how quickly the parents freak out, the first room they go into has a forced perspective and they're going "Wonka get us out of here!"

They freak out, overly, at the forced prespective room but then moments later after Augustus is sucked through a pipe they take it in stride.  Then after the maddening ferry ride... they press on.  After a child is turned into a blueberry, they press on.  After a child falls down a garbage chute they press on.  After a child is SHRUNKEN by a crazy contraption they go on!!!  But a crazy forced-precpetcitve room they're ready to quit.

Yeah. None of them had and ANY sense of prespective.... Heh.

maybe the room is like a metaphor.  lol

what shocks me is the room scares them but wonka has tree that are literally growing candy and they think thats normal, once i learn wonka is playing god im out of there.

NPH is just hilarious, and such a hottie.  I'd like for him to throw me down and-- wait a minute, my officemate wants to tell me something...

DAMMIT.

Well.  Good job, anyway, Neil.

I thought it was brilliant.  I actually thought the first hour was the best, with the soul crushingly depressing life of Charlie being riffed on to hilarious effect.  NPH was really great, playing off MIke well and providing some stellar riffing of his own.  I join the ranks of those hoping for more Riffs from the man in the future.

I only saw this movie a couple of times as a kid, tops, because it freaked me right out.

At 30, it's only gotten worse.  Largely because I've learned about acid since then.

I cannot get over the FOUR GRANDPARENTS in the SAME BED.  I lost track of the dumptrucks of issues this presents.

Grandpa Joe sucks.  Love how he pisses over how crappy his life is-- nope, nothing good like a wife and a child and a grandchild--until he gets a chocolate factory tour.  Well!  Now he's got some meaning!

I also like the way he tells Charlie that he will find a golden ticket, breaking the kid's heart a couple of times before he actually find one.  Nice parenting, Grandprick!

Yeah, Grandpa is pretty much the perfect example of how to build up a child's unrealistic goals.

I also agree that NPH rules, more, more!

This gave me quite an uproarious laugh. Lady Kenobi for guest riffer!

My friend Sean has an entire rant about what a DICK Grandpa Joe is; I'll have to see if there's a copy of it somewhere that I can post.

Great fun and excellent RT. I haven't been disappointed with a non MST alumni guest yet.
