Not making it up, there's even a few for sale on Amazon.jp for about 400 yen or so which is really cheap. Probably dubbed in Japanese, I'd love to know who voiced Crow.

Does Amazon.jp deliver to the U.S.? I haven't tried to buy anything from them in years, because they always cancelled my order saying, "We can not ship to the U.S."

I haven't a clue, but I've heard of people buying from it before in the US with no problem. It may depend on the seller and if those tapes are secondhand the sellers might not want to ship outside Japan.

Quite an interesting thing though, because I'm pretty sure Japan wouldn't get what it's about without the TV series, and it's probably been rewritten for them like the German release was (there's no way anyone living in Japan would get the Price Is Right joke at the beginning of the movie credits for This Island Earth)

Ah, O.K.  I'll see if I can get it.  By the way, your avatar is adorable!

I translated the Amazon.jp page and it seems it's subtitled in Japanese (probably because the dubbing would ruin the talking over the movie).

And thanks, I like Yue a lot.

With all of the Amazons I've ordered from, they are happy to ship internationally most of the time, but it's the independent sellers that aren't/can't.
