When speaking to a person, look at their ear instead of meeting their eyeline directly. It really makes people nuts.

When you get done shopping at a convenience store, leave your shopping cart in between two parking spaces.

At a water fountain with a line, sip some water, then stop and clear your throat, then sip again.  Then do it again.

In a movie theater with only one person, sit right next to that person.

You should have spelled something wrong in the thread title. Unless you were aiming for a way to subtly annoy somebody by not going for such an obvious joke. Then... touche, good sir.

I prefer to annoy my coworkers by using MST3K quotes and references, even though I know they NEVER get them.

My uncle was a huge Mark Martin fan (NASCAR for those not playing along), and he hated Jeff Gordon.  Every time I visited I would put a little piece of Jeff Gordon merchandise into his collection.  A little annoying.

Until the week I housesat for him and his wife.  She helped me with the purchasing and planning of the items.  I replaced every item in his collection with Jeff Gordon.  It was quite hilarious.  Well, I guess you had to be there.

But he deserved it for all the years and all the pranks he pulled on us.

I remember one year my cousins and I bought about 100 bucks worth of fireworks between us. We waited until my bachelor uncle, who always loved to blow stuff up, and hid all of our stash except for a few dinky items. He then took us out and bought around 250 dollars worth of fireworks. He was a little proud and furious when we showed him the collection. We had a footlocker and a closet full of things. Pretty great. Left overs were had for 3 years.

When finishing a phonecall with anyone, call centres/friends/etc say, "K, love you, bye." And put the phone down before they get a chance to respond.

Also when picking the phone up, leave a long pause and wait for the other person to say "hello?" first. Make sure they can hear you breathing and just carry on the call as normal.

I didn't actually do this, so it kinda doesn't count, but:

A few years ago I had afriend who worked at aHollywood Video, and after work I would hang out with him chatting while he was working. One day this nice little old lady came in and was asking about if we could recommend any movies about horses or horseback riding. We were THIS close to recommending Zoo as a movie about horse "enthusiasts". In retrospect I'm glad we didn't, as I have no doubt my friend would have gotten in SERIOUS trouble for that. But it's still funny as hell.

Then point out to somebody who does this that double-posting is discouraged and proclaim you're going to report him to the moderators.

... Yes, even if there isn't a rule on this particular forum against double posting and, yes, even this action technically counts on your part as a frivolous report to the moderators and would get you a brief suspension. I just like to think of it as annoying two birds with one click!

Replacing "cl" with "d" seems like a fun thing to do.

You'd be very popular in a Wale's bar though.

So there's a way to freeze Mentos into ice cubes. If I knew anyone who drank diet coke, I'd try it.

An oldie but a goodie: In High School the cheerleaders would always make signs for home coming and put one on each players locker (they'd usually do it for football, basketball, and baseball players) After the signs had been up for about a week (and the players got used to looking for their sign to locate their locker) we'd move them all over one locker. Nothing too crazy but it did create a nice bit of confusion the next hour.
