Title: Grunt your favorite lines
Post by: Darth Geek on September 27, 2011, 05:50:47 PM
I love Bill's line "Being the only applicant. Where would I be without you?"

"In the name of my father."  - Randy. "And his father before him." - Randy Sr.

Oh, he thinks he's walking away from an explosion.

There were a slough of lines I tried really hard to remember, but there were far too many.  I'm glad I can at least remember these:

"So Kenneth Branagh provided us with a Kenneth Branagh impersonator?"

"Fans of drab, bluish-gray chaos? Your ship has finally come in!"

"Haha!  It's funny because it's very difficult to tell what the hell is going on."

"We are looking for Sarah Conner."

"Hey! Branagh! Camera's crooked!  Eh, you're right.  This ain't Shakespeare." (ZING!)

"Bank of America!?  Everyone knows vikings are mascots for Capital One!"

"Movie, you're trying to riff yourself!? Boooo!"

"Ooh! He can fly! Like Superman and R2D2."

And Bill's delivery of "Hey, guys! You talkin' about 'power'?"

Asgard. Designed by Salvidor Dali while on blotter acid.

At this point just put sunglasses on his unconscious body and have Weekend at Thor's.

Meanwhile, back in Asgard, Thor is deeply missed. Once they realized he was the only one who knew the parental control code for the DVR.

In Thor, Anthony Hopkins will take phoning in your role to a whole new level by falling asleep on screen.
Harrison Ford wishes he had thought to do this in Firewall.. and Crystal Skull.... and Cowboys & Aliens.

A deal made possible by the fact that the Norse God Thor speaks English!

This place is well fortified. Except for, y'know, the TENT FABRIC!

I'm sorry, but as a gorgeous woman, I'm not used to guys being interested in me. (I don't usually find Natalie Portman all that attractive, but she did look really good in this movie. Something about the way her hair was styled I really liked. That plus the fact she was a geek)

Shall I continue to name random places at you?

You have the keys to the Sampo. (can't believe I'm the first person to mention this)

I didn't mention it cuz I haven't seen "The Day the Earth Froze" in forever and did not pick up on it.  Excellent callback, fer shure.

"It's not over"
Until the fat lady sings.

Oh no wait, that was something I said while watching this movie. I can't believe they didn't think of that. They're freaking Vikings!

Watching this in 3D the motion sickness jokes and the ones about slaming us into things really, ah, stood out.  hehe

(FYI: 3D shutter glasses really mess up an ipod display.)
