That video was uploaded in 2007, and the description says it isn't official yet. I found this (http://www.amazon.com/Time-Chasers-Matthew-Bruch/dp/B0006PQQCU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1284583509&sr=8-1) on Amazon and also this (http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=27448). Nothing about a special edition. Maybe it fell through.

Too bad really. The movie, not the situation.

I love the Product Description in Amazon:

"In this award winning non stop sci-fi adventure, inventor Nick Miller dreams of traveling through time, of stopping war and curing humanity's problems. He invents the Transport, a time machine, to better the world. When he sells his invention to a defense contractor, the time machine is used by its evil CEO as a sinister weapon. Nick soon discovers that the future has been changed into a desolate wasteland controlled by gangs. Robertson has sold use of the Transport to anyone who wants to take advantage of knowing the normal course of history."

One question....erm....which award did it win?

It's a shame that fell through, yeah. Would have been interesting to sit through the cast interviews.

Yeah, you might want to try the studio's website instead:

"One of the most loved/cursed Cult Sci-Fi movies ever made; "TIME CHASERS" is finally here - in all it's breathless, mind-twisting 80's-Era glory! This Award-winning feature, made on a shoestring budget with a 19-year old Director and Cast and Crew of Volunteers became legendary from its first airing on "Mystery Science Theater 3000". "TIME CHASERS" has gained its cult following as much for campy laughs as for the pure enjoyment of its innocently earnest low-budget story.

In this non-stop Sci-Fi adventure, Inventor Nick Miller creates a time machine to better the world. When his invention is swindled away for use as a sinister weapon, he must team up with his "past self" to save civilization - and win the heart of his High-School sweetheart. This Special Edition release, Digitally ReMastered from the film's Original Theatrical Release features so many extras (including "Memories in Time"; a NEW Reunion of the Original Cast Documentary) that it is a "must-have" for Sci-Fi and cult cinema fans.

Review: (3 1/2 Stars Out of Four)- "This film proves that you don't need a $100 million budget if you have imagination and a good story!" -The Video Movie Guide"

$26.95 and it seems to be in stock.

Oddly enough, I've seen other Edgewood films that aren't listed in their store.

I dunno, thats a good question. One of the comments on that second website was "J K Robertson actually talks like that!" That cracked me up.

...hey, way to go team! Seems like MST3K really does bring back movies destined for oblivion.

Way to go Edgewood!

I wonder if they did the same deal with "Mitchell" (IE: "Mitchell: The Special Edition")

Oh, while we're on topic...

A David Giancola Film....is not something you'd want to see.

But, seriously...

"Cursed" as in bad luck or as in verbal insults hurled at the film?  Because if it's the latter, Troll 2 or Battlefield Earth probably has it beat by a mile...
