I'm guessing it won't close any time soon.  We'll find welcomers, lambasters, time-waters, bored people, and the other general Riff-raff Rifftrax Roundtable (RRRR!) come by.  Welcome!  :)

I dunno.  I've played so many good board games.  Just a few of my favorites here.

Risk 2210
Axis & Allies (assuming you have 12+ hours to blow)
Betrayal at the House on the Hill
Arkham Horror
Risk Godstorm

how the hell do you play a WHOLE game of risk in 12 hours?  the set up takes about that long, and arguing with allies takes almost twice as much :)

One of the funnniest games i have ever seen my best friend played as the UK and didnt make a move the whole game, every turn he spent his money on either a bomber and tech with the rest, or all tech.  The yutz playing germany ignored him the whole game, trying his hardest to decimate russia.  Eventually heavy=UK victory

How about the explosion of 'themed' monopoly games over the last what, 3-5 years?   I'd like to see a MST3K themed one... (but it'll never happen)

Now if I have voted correctly what type of air will I recieve? Mountain Air? Ocean Seaspray Air? If it's L'Air de France I'll be pissed.

I recently saw the entire Hellraiser series.  I enjoyed the first three, I think.  The others were either bland or terrible.

Yep.  I was faintly hopeful about that one, as it had Lance Henriksen in it.  It sucked!  :)

<Condesceding Nerd Voice> Uh... that would be Hellraiser part Eight, also know as Hellworld. </Voice>

What a piece of crap that one was. Although, after the couple that came before it, that film was like a nice warm hug. I especially like the rip-off Matrix DVD cover. After seven movies i stuck around watching each film get worse and worse. But when you start to mess up a franchise's mythology you alienate whatever base you might have left... They turned Pinhead and the whole concept into a freakin' computer game?!! And then they go to LAN parties and rave, only to find out...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I'm a horror nerd spurned~

I agree.  The whole box thing should be a secret, something that only a few, very disturbed people know about, not exposed like it was in the movie.

I played a game for the first time this weekend with some college friends (after watching a Rifftrax):

The Fury of Dracula.

Lot of fun but it does take some time. It is similar to Scotland Yard but with dice-rolling combat and action/item cards.

As a kid I really liked this electronic game called Dark Tower. It took like 4 C batteries or something. You would adventure around the board and events we displayed on the electronic tower to let you know what happened.

I had to vote for 24+ because Nothing Lasts Forever (according to Roderick Thorp)
