Were you just in my parent's attic?  I had this album when I was a kid.

Both the Muppet Show and Sesame Street always had lots of groovy 70s music in them, so this was not much of a stretch.

In case anyone's interested, I also had the Star Wars Christmas album (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_in_the_Stars) as a kid, so I've always had great taste in music.

I'm really bad at math but I think it might have something to do with:

The answer?

P.S. 8-Track anyone?

I shook serious five year old ass to this one back in '79... Sure it's still at my dad's house buried in a box somewhere....

I thought I was so cool, having avoided all the albums above for so long...then you had to post this one and bam, I remembered it.  Thing is, I know I listened to it, but I can't remember a single thing on it.  I just remember that cover.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Sesame Street's great album of music from blaxploitation films which came out about the same time as this one.  Oscar the Grouch's version of Shaft is amazing.

And having Ben Folds writing 90% of the album helps a lot as well.  ;D

Son of a...I really need to research and cross-reference all my jokes before I post them.  Leave it to those crazy mothers on Sesame Street.
