making the famous planet logo?

I know one of the materials is spaghetti. That's pretty much all I know.  :-\

Uh, carve it out of foam? That's probably how the real one was done.

Yeah, thanks to the poopie tape, I've seen how big that thing was compared to the crew holding it up.  Foam is probably your best option.
