What is the biggest regret in your life? And if you're one of those "I don't believe in regret" hippies, what's the thing that comes closest?
I really don't have any regrets but if there's something I should have done it's this.
Back when i was looking at colleges I went to Canterbury to attend their open day event. i was staying at a little guest house as was this really pretty girl from up North (Scunthorpe I seem to recall). Anyway we were going to look at different presentations for the college but we were done at around the same time and so, having many a free hour we wandered around the city together, and when it got late went back to the guest house and played scrabble for a few hours.
She was, in addition to being very pretty and Northern (lovely accent on a girl) very bright and funny to talk to. Anyway the evening was getting late and she said "well I'll be going to my room"
To which I replied "Oh OK, sleep well!"
The next day she was a little distant and it was only after we'd got on different buses to go home that it occurred to me that the correct answer should have been "Mind if I join you?"
So yes not really a huge regret but I probably really hurt her feelings there and I think the evening might have ended much better had I really paid attention to what she was getting at

I still can never tell if a girl likes me incidentally.
Ah crap, well my story is more humiliating and therefore probably worth keeping.
What was your best memory?
The First Date Ann and I had walking around MSU's campus.
So if you could have any super power what would it be?
