Absolutely. And of course since we have the original files, we could probably provide you with a larger image, with which you could revamp your design...

So, according to Ape Law... Number of Entries Deemed Eligible: You may enter up to 3 Entries for the entire Contest Period. Does this mean we can submit 3 separate design entries? Or is it that we have 3 chances to finalize our 1 design? I'm finishing up one design so far, but I have at least 2 other ideas floating in my head right now... Also, would it be a bad idea if we all shared (read: show off) our works in progress on the board? I'm interested in seeing what everyone else has so far

3 Entries total.
And sure, feel free to post your entries here, if you like. I would be wary just because people might take some ideas "inspired" by your design... but it's your call.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of... maybe I'll wait towards the end to start comparing notes.... dunno. So with 3 entries, is it possible for more than one of your own entries to make it into the final 16? Or will it be chosen out of the best of the 3 of your designs?

I'm thinking about this...I have very little in the way of techie skills, but I used to be quite a doodler. And I just ordered a Wacom tablet (woo) for my wedding-present-to-myself. So I may submit a little turd of something, only to be embarrassed by the professionals.

I feel the same way I wouldn't want to look like one of those cheeseballs who audition for American Idol even though they know they can't sing. Why waste the Judges time. I guess if they need more submissions to make the others look better they'll let us know.

Well the way I see it...there are 16 "finalist" slots, which is quite a few.

A few more questions...
Does the first los-res design need to be 300 dpi pdf? Or would a 72 dpi or so lo-res picture be ok?
Also, what is the preferred resolution that the final file should be at? Im guessing a 300 dpi .ai file?
