cool, thanks for the tip!
Yes Asia is great. They are relatively cheap, offer free shipping and they don't seem to give a rat's ass about parallel imports which I like.

I used to buy tons of DVDs. Then I moved across the country and realized what a pain in the ass it was to pack them all. I've still got hundreds of the damn things in storage.
These days I find DVD+Rs look just as good and they're easier to store. :-) I do buy every new MST3K related release because I want to support these guys (even though we now know they don't get royalties).
I did just buy Harvey Birdman Volumes 2 and 3 as well as the nice two disc edition of Rocky off of Amazon Marketplace super cheap. Too lazy to link the covers though.

Well in addition to ... I also made a quick stop at the pawn shop (its like a biweekly occurrence with me ) Grabbed these for a couple bucks each. Donnie Darko Director's Cut - didn't care much for this version, the original was great the way it was, The original had better music, more mystery, and less Kevin Smith. Austin Powers Goldmember - haven't seen this since the theatrical, seem to remember a few laugh out loud moments. Might be worth watching again. 2 Fast 2 Furious - The crap middle sequel ... what can I say I've got 1 & 3 and was feeling like a completest Predator 2 - Haven't seen this one yet. Jackie Chan Snake & Crane Arts of Shaolin - kung fu movies need no explanation The Tuxedo - I remember this being a pretty crappy movie, maybe its less torturous the second time around.

Yeah for Snake and Crane (if you got the Columbia/Sony release that has the subtitles). UGH for Tuxedo. It is pretty bad. One or two OK fight scenes but for the most part a forgettable Jackie flick.

Yeah its got a Columbia logo and subtitles listed as a feature. Can't really take credit for knowing anything about the movie, I just buy anything with Jet Li or Jackie Chan on the cover.

Snake and Crane is old school Jackie when they were trying to groom him to be the next Bruce Lee. It is not bad but it is not like later Jackie flicks. If you don't already have them and you want really good Jackie Chan films from back then, you should keep an eye out for Young Master and Dragon Lord those were the first two flicks that Jackie really directed and had creative control over. He was actually very Kubrick-ian back then. There is one scene in Dragon Lord of him kicking a shuttle-cock and he needed 1200 takes to get it right.

I've only got a dozen or so Jackie flicks and don't have Young Master or Dragon Lord, I'm sure they'll end up in my collection eventually. Looking forward to The Forbidden Kingdom

Rocky, Rocky II, (already have III), Rocky IV, (fuck Rocky V), (already own Rocky Balboa), The Untouchables, A Fistful of Dollars, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Thank you, Walmart 5 dollar bin! Also cheap, but not $5: Hellboy Director's Cut, and Gattaca.

I love Wal-Mart's bins too.
Last week I pick up the three disc director's cut of Hellboy too,For $7.50!
You can't beat that.
I am glad that they finally released a Widescreen edition of Gattaca,it is one of the most underrated movies to come out in the past 30 year IMO.
