Thanks for that. I was actually going to go with that one just because Amazon had it ready to go, but I'll look around at the other one.

I'm thinking about the Collector's Edition, but prices are annoyingly high for a good copy of that one. Wish I still lived in SF, the Rasputin's there might've had it (that's where I found Feebles when no other store had it listed).

My only complaint about the Anchor Bay one is the cover art. If you know anything about the history of the movie being released in the states you know that Magnum Video made a sticker out or the raised middle finger and stuck it on the covers of the VHS and LASERDISCS to be less offensive to us. The Anchor Bay lenticular cover is cool that it has a nod to that famous package design and it flips from the piss off to the bird which by itself is cool. What I LOATHE is that stupid GOLD RING they stuck on the middle finger as a nod to PJ's work on LOTR. It just bugs me every time I see it.

I think this is the right one to get then: http://www.amazon.com/Bad-Taste-Costa-Botes/dp/B00005OCK6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1246996186&sr=8-2

That ring does seem a little out of place. And while I like that they use the two-finger bird flip (the other box cover cuts it off to make it seem like one), I think it's odd they used one finger in the movie. This being a purely NZ production, don't they use two fingers down there?

EDIT: Or maybe it's this one? http://www.amazon.com/Bad-Taste-Limited-Costa-Botes/dp/B00005OCK5/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1246996186&sr=8-3

There's a small review down below saying this isn't the correct release for either one, but they may be referring to the one that Amazon has in stock.

Are we going to return to ever having a point or is this thread going to go further south?

A few since my last post:

A nice little retrospective of Maiden's last tour. Lots of great footage.

We all know this one.

Not nearly as good as the original but entertaining anyways.

80's classic comedy cheese only $5 at Wal-Mart.

The latest and greatest in the Maneater Series!! Starring Corin Nemic and came out the same day as Parker Lewis!

Season 8! Only what, 3 or 4 more to go?

Blu-Ray finally came in used at work. Had to upgrade. GRADE A gory fun.

I liked the Hangover a lot so I figured I would give this one a try. Hard to believe the same guy also directed the G.G. Allin doc HATED.

HOOOOOOTTTTTTT POCKET!

Found out about it playing the screencap quiz and it looks pretty funny.

The latest release of cult tv classic that most people here probably have never seen before.

Red Cliff Parts 1 & 2. With the part 2 DVD being pulled from shelves to make room for the horribly cut down international release that combines both parts into a nonsensical two hour mess. Also Jackie Chan's new flick Shinjuku Incident.

Which release of Red Cliff did you get? I am eyeing the Korean releases but I haven't decided yet.

Sometimes it pays to wait a few weeks to buy stuff.  On amazon, the blu-ray dropped to $17.99, and I used to $5 off code to make it $12.99. And the video game dropped to $46.99.  So I jumped and got them both.

It was $16.99 on preorder when I got it, but with the code you won.
