Did you really get the PG-13 Theatrical Cut rather than Unrated Extended Cut?

It's cool how the latter adds scenes to try to make the plot make sense when only the real Director's Cut might do that.  But it is more dumb fun - which is all this movie is when you come down to it.

Yeah, I got the extended version. More of Milla lamenting on how bad things are Tongue

It's a good dumb fun movie, and some of my favorites fights are in it (one of them made my LoC list, even).

Just bought American History X. Five years and it still makes me cry. While normally I love Stacy Keach and will watch him in anything, he reminds me so much of my step-grandfather so much that it hurts (and yes, I mean that in the worst possible way).

Still an amazing film, though.

Hmm...I think the movie I was talking about was "BloodRayne" actually.  I shut it off when guys with New Jersey accents were supposed to be medieval.

Well that's entirely understandable, that movie can cause blood clots if you're not careful.

I mentioned that in the Red Dawn 20 questions game as a joke, hoping someone would chime in with the Clerks reference (and someone did!), but didn't expect anyone to buy it.

But won't we all feel stupid when they riff Navy Seals now?

I'm as little ashamed of buying any movie that has Charlie Sheen as the action hero.

Don't get me wrong I liked him in the Hot shots movies but he always seemed the lamest action hero on earth.

Then you haven't see Wing Commander starring Freddie Prinze Jnr.  Smiley

I saw it when it first came to video and then never again.

When a movie looks bad compared to the FMVs in a 90s video game you know something is wrong.

Moviestop is having a buy 3 get 1 free sale so I picked up

"Beyond High Definition" is a really stupid slogan for something that is in fact NOT beyond high definition.

I don't know how old that ID4 Blu-Ray release is, but that slogan sounds like a dig at the HD-DVD format to me.

Oh. Yeah, that'd make sense I guess. Still kinda stupid.  That'd be like a DVD slogan being "BEYOND Digital Versatile Disc!"

Apparently I've been suckered into this whole HD business...seeing as how I already own the first two of those on DVD.
Looking forward to watching Sunshine though.
