Plenty of Connery goodness in LXG.  Plus how much Nick Cage can we take here?

There seem to be far more LXG voters actually posting in this thread than Armageddon voters. Interesting.

For the record, I'm up for any of these, but my personal choice would be The Rock. There's just not enough footage in the world to apply sufficient vitriol to Nicholas Cage, so every moment we can spend tearing him apart is a moment well spent. And as far as I'm concerned, it's LONG past time that Connery and his axshent got the riff treatment. Plus, you know, balls filled with lethal chemicals? The jokes write themselves... Cheesy

I recently saw a Mythbusters which involved baseball myths, and whether or not dry vs. humid baseballs flew better. They kept saying "humid balls" and "dry balls," and I'm sure there was a LOT which ended up on the cutting room floor for that one.

Points of interest:
-LXG is the cheaper DVD
-There is only one version of LXG in circulation, where as there are multiple version of Armageddon
-LXG is 40 minutes shorter.

You make some excellent points... A shame that no one can change their vote, though.

Yeah way to go GregMcDORK. I would have voted LXG if I had remembered seeing it at Walmart. Too late now.

Well I already have a copy of LXG but I ordered a copy of Armaggeddon to go with my Criterion one, thus ensuring that it won't be picked and I'll have no immediate use for it.

Tongue When I saw that Armageddon had almost caught up with League, I had an image in my head of the Armageddon voters all sitting in a circle holding hands singing "we can make a difference"...  Tongue

They were tied at 17/17 last night. Looks like a couple of good honest people (and one idiot) have changed that ratio though.

Please don't insult people for voting their opinion. ALL of these movies are worthy of ridicule.

The whole point of Riff Raff Theater is about listening to the voice of the people. We want people to feel free to express their thoughts or votes. That's what makes our riffs so damn funny. Everyone IS a critic. Smiley

After Armageddon, I think 'The Day After Tomorrow' should be on the next list Grin

Look, we just stopped a major invasion.  In three days they’d have been across the border with this stuff!

I would have Really had a dilima if it was on this list, but since Armageddon is #3 and Day After Tomorrow is #4 on my top 10 list, I probably wouldn't have changed my vote Tongue
