too much of the art of filmmaking involves the DP and Editor selecting the angles at which something is viewed, how much you can see, etc. Fixed, the auteur theory gives the bloke shouting things on set far too much credit in most cases.  |

ummm, maybe, RVR can correct me on this. I think the M14 got shafted in this test. Why the hell would you be shooting at something at full auto at 450 meters.
The M-14 was used by the Navy for defense against intruders trying to board our ships/submarines, and for picking off sharks in the event we got a 'swim call' while out at sea.. We never needed it for distances like that (450m x 3ft = 1350ft); only closer ranges |
