Every episode seems to end on the same note. We get it already, these people are building the resistance... now get with the resisting already.

I could really do without the teeny romance crap but I guess you gotta keep the kids watchin', right? Yeah, it's like for some reason they wanted to push the creep who joins the "Visitor Youth" and the snotty girl who ends up preggers by a V together into one character....and not make him SO obnoxious that you hate him completely... And it's not working so much. The husky friend doesn't help either.... Every episode seems to end on the same note. We get it already, these people are building the resistance... now get with the resisting already.

C'mon....you don't want the Vs to be like Imperial Stormtroopers, do you? A bunch of pushovers? But that is one thing that they've changed that they shouldn't have....the "Scientists as Scapegoats" aspect being gone. Because then the scientists all lose their jobs and they don't have to keep up the pretense of a 9 to 5 job while being a resistance fighter. (and even if they do, no one we've met yet are scientists so it won't apply)

Yeah, I hear you. It seems as if with the sophistication of this whole Fifth Column thing and the four of the rebels meeting up at the end, things will start to ramp up (hopefully). Maybe they're stalling because they're already worried about stretching it out to more than a mini-series.

What's this "last episode of the year" crap? Why would they air four eps and then put it on hold for well over a month?

Because ABC is stupid. They greenlit According to Jim and AFV for crying out loud.

And these two series lasted for how many years, making the network money while not costing all that much? Which is pretty much the point of a series: to turn a profit for the network. (And what about AFV giving Trace Beaulieu steady work for years? Gee, even According to Jim gave Rifftrax a nice running gag, so they have that in the plus column. Are we to be ingrates, sir?) If you want to highlight ABC's stupidity, Cavemen is a far better example. See, not saying you were wrong, just that there are better examples. I could whip up a rational explanation for the scheduling of V if I really really tried, but it would involve the original Battlestar Galactica and turn this post into a novel, so I think I'll stop now.

The new ones wont be on until March. Oh my god, you're right. Production on the remaining eps starts in January. I'm scratching my head on this one, regardless of precedent. Let's show four eps, give people a chance to get into it, and then pull it for three months. Eh?

But they had them make the four episodes anyway and ran them late in the new season....and now they fired the guy and are going to stop and "retool" That way.... - People who watched these four and liked them will be disappointed about the delay and may not come back when it returns
- People who watched these four and liked them may not like the "retooling" and won't watch again after that
- People who watched these four and hated them may not bother to watch the "retooled" ones because they're already put off
What could possibly go wrong?

No offense, but I wouldn't want you running ABC either. This show could be so much better than these episodes have shown, and I think they were expecting a lot more than what they got.

ABC has confirmed that V will return on March 30, 2010. It will air at 10 PM, after Lost has aired. Also, what I find rather amazing is that the viewers only decreased about 60,000 from episode 3 to 4, staying at a viewer count of approx. 9,2 million viewers. Hopefully, the numbers will stay about the same when the show begins again, if we're lucky. Source: http://LauraVandervoort.org

Not sure what that says about me or the overall quality of TV.
